Everytime I do LSD when I start to come down my joints start to ache and if I've taken a large dose my whole my body starts to ache. It also starts to feel like my brain is burnt. What gives, this normal???

And you keep taking it? I'm a big fan of LSD and have enjoyed it many many times, but I don't partake much anymore. Too damn old and yeah, there are some side effects.

Oh I still party I just don't feel like shit the next day anymore. I ate the stuff for 20 years or so. I am not against it at all and would still dose heavily in the right situation I just don't seek out to situations as much these days. Got married and just don't play as hard as I used to.

40 is a bitch. lol..............

I heard it actually manipulates your genetic makeup, as well as increasing your risks for osteoporosis. Dose sparingly like don't do it more than six times in a year, actually I heard from a shrink that if you have dosed more than six times your legally insane.

that is complete bs and a wifes tale at its best with no real scientific data to back it up.. what happens if you only dose five time? you're only partially insane?? it's just ridiculous that a dr would ever say such a thing, and almost as ridiculous as people repeating his nonsense..

SWEET! So now if I murder someone I can use the insanity defense! :D

Seriously though, would appreciate any actually scientific data you can find on what you mentioned. All research seems to dictate that LSD, Shrooms and Weed are the safest drugs you can do.

ANC mentioned a definition for insanity which took my interest. He said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". This is a logical reason to call people insane on. Unless I`m doing that, nobody can call me insane. But uh oh, people call people insane for their way of life, clothes, interests, ideas and fuck knows what other bullshit reasons they can come up with.

LSD causes muscle tension from what I know. Like contractions and cramps. If I don`t do yoga for a long time I stop realising my body is in tension pain just like all these people walking the streets with necks the shape of cranes. The last time they used their body properly must of been years ago, long forgotten. You think your not in pain but pain is relative and its what your used to.

I don`t know how you normally treat your body but maybe you need something like yoga in your life? Here I`m meaning you should have your body nicely stretched and feeling great before you dose so the tension from LSD doesn`t disturb you as much. Also doing something like Yoga doesn`t just benefit your body physically, it teaches your mind to keep your body in line naturally, like learning how to drive and thats a very valuable thing! I`m kinda trying to say when you get jaw gurning from E you can make it worse or better and its influenced by how relaxed a person you are. Same goes for your joint pains too.

My best advice would be to do something like yoga, if you can`t be bothered with that (big mistake) then do it in times when you haven`t been stressed and have a hot bath beforehand.

And I know a 72 year old guy who can do over 1200 pushups in an hour and lots of other stuff. He swears by cod liver oil and says it works wonders on your joints and has been taking it since he was 40. Maybe its time to get started? :D

Bits an pieces of advice anyways :)

Or I have the easiest option, whack off some lines of K for the pain :P

I love your location btw, "Zooniverse" :D

We have been contemplating some form of exercise lately, because well, we need it. LoL I think you've convinced me on the yoga Tenner. :)

I too have noticed some stiffening towards the end of journeys. Massages are nice.

Just like when its raining, your joints have very sensitive nerve endings that are effected by humidity levels. Typically acid will drain your body of hydration, and this may be where the pain in the joints comes in to play. Keeping hydrated and smoking a few bongs will keep pain off your mind.. Do you also get tooth aches? or the desire to make a strong bite? I've had meltdowns on acid, where you forget what pain is. Where it feels like youre sinking closer and closer to the ground because your equalibrium cannot compensate with earths gravitational pull, and then youre no longer seeing crazy shit, you are running around your house as if youre floating, effortlessly, at extreme rates of speed, receiving sensory in the form of strictly light. Seeing other people you are tripping with in a black-endless room as glowing orbs of energy. I actually might believe that LSD makes you insane if taken more than 6 times a year.....but then again, I've taken roughly 500 hits in my time, mostly in one apartment-partying cluster back when I had a coke head roommate that got me into tripping. Definitely a different drug! LSD changes our view of society and our individual perspectives on the purpose of life. We no longer trust the church and avoid speaking against them. Now we fly ion-propelled unmanned ships to asteroids large enough to host life.

LoL, you just reminded me of the time I bit through an unopened can of soda while on L. Tripped out my co-trippers something good. They were like, "WTF!" LoL

so is driving 4 hours to pick up a girl in delaware. that was a trip. Do not recommend leaving a room while tripping unless you think jail is a fun place.

spinal taps do not show acid. your spinal fluid is injected with 600cc's of fluid per day. Meaning, in 30 days or so, there shouldnt be any trace of LSD

the only thing permentantly altered by a tripping experience is your perception receptors. your braincells that can remember the small bits and pieces that LSD filled in. This can possibly explain flashbacks by small neurological seizures in those receptors that are having trouble getting all your mental parts in order, as others have said, smelling colors and hearing lights.

the reason your joints hurt is because the acid you are taking has trace amounts of strychnine in it, no joke...its a common element they mix it with....usually lower back hurts more than other places...
