Why didn't anyone post this? Man, she can't even speak without a prompter!?! What a damn LOSER, can't even speak without a prompter!?! I just can't believe it, can't speak without a prompter!?!

PS- Ignore the "blinking lights" they put all over the screen. Although difficult to do while watching the images, focus on paying attention to the words. Curious; I looked through the other political clips posted on CNN, even other breaking news, and the blinking lights are absent, for the most part. They reappear again in the Mark Sanford story. Curious.

In all seriousness, all jabs at our current idiot in chief aside, I thought it, her resignation speech, was very motivating. She is going to fight for us, U.S. I gave a fifty spot to start her off on the right foot.

Not a wise investment my friend. That's $50 that'll produce nothing.

And that speech was rambling and lacking structure. It had no direction. I can give you a full rhetorical analysis if you'd like.

Save it for your "class", prof.
I like how you continue to doubt the simple fact that I teach rhetoric and political philosophy. It's quite strange how you perceive this one fact as unbelievable. As if I just made it up out of thin air - just for you. Quite narcissistic if you ask me.

So tell me, why is it so unbelievable? Is there a trend on the interwebs of people posing as professors to prove their posited opinions (you like the alliteration)?

Why do you betray so much? If you are, you are. Don't worry what I think, friend.

Well I think anyone who runs for and then wins an election for a government position ought to fulfill their obligations. Stepping down as a Governor is not like you just quit your job at McDonalds, they don't replace them that easily with someone as qualified. The Lt. Gov will now take her place, but I don't know much about him. Its a Cop Out.

jrh, your certainly right about her speeches, they are kind of "Country Bumpkin" in a way, but its not bad, just different than all the rest. Now Obama, that guy is a fantastic speaker, absolutely brilliant. Reagan was pretty good too, but my favorite was JFK.

what... huh?

"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Alaska, and that I will faithfully discharge my duties as Governor to the best of my ability. So help me God"

So it is looking less like scandal, or a 2012 bid, but that she is just tired of being Governor. She signed a contract and took an oath, then quit with no explanation. You kids can play loyal all you want, she has shocked the republicans, she has shaken her party and her constituents trust, and nobody quite understands what the hell she is doing. Put all the lipstick you like on it.

I guess she will spend some time at home, then some time touring... speaking engagements... book tours. Cash in on her celebrity status, and throw her support towards someone else in 2012.

I guess... she needed to take this time off of fulfilling her obligations so that she can concentrate on being a celebrity while the notion is lucrative.

So are you the kind of professor that tries to push his/her own political agenda onto their students? Or do you keep an open mind while you're "philosophizing"?

I never push my own political agenda. I don't even have one (that I'm aware of). The only thing I tell my students is to be open-minded and I constantly remind them of one simple fact - that 320 million Americans CANNOT be represented by two parties who produce the same person every year (usually a rich white guy). In fact, it's a logical fallacy - false dilemma.
