Pasta Clones

Not sure what I'm missing.
These clones are small but I cloned many small ones in the past.
All were done the same way with cloning gel.
Within 24 hours some went limp like wet pasta.

the medium MUST be kept moist to ensure root development. Are you using any sort of dome / cover to keep them humid? Your lights also look pretty close, back them off a bit, the light intensity doesn't need to be that high for rooting.

The soil is drying out on top but is moist throughout.
I'm using seed starter soil with ph'd tap water.
2 of the 4 lights are on and about 8" away from the plants.
I know they don't need much light at this time, no fan either.
I mist them every 6 hours.
Just wonder why some are limp and others ok?

i have two rooted moses clones ready to hit the soil tonight. the mother is deep into flower so if these don't make it, the strain is gone. wish me luck, i'll do the same for you.

Once rooted I think you have it made.
Lost a blueberry gum last round but it wasn't my favorite plant.
First week of flower for the mother plants so still have time to take a few more cuttings.
Sorta sucks because I trim 1/3 of the bottom branches off when I clone and I hate using tops.
