Patient to patient sales

Are patient to patient sales legal?
I see ads on CL of people trying to sell extra meds like this all the time.

Aside from the sketchy dealing that come with meeting people off CL would it be breaking the law

I've heard the laws within Denver city limits are more lenient, and this is why you see so many ads for this and clones only in the Denver section.

Sale of MMJ is illegal in any state... now "donations" are another thing. If you are going to try to "deal" at least try to word it correctly not to tip off the fuzz.

as far as I understand caregiver to their registered patient or caregiver to caregiver is ok.

Yea, i know that caregiver to patient is ok, just didnt know about patient to patient. Its weird how they get around saying youneed to donate 200 per oz. or something when they have actually just set a price.

Somebody must have thought that offer you linked to was not legit. I see it has been flagged for removal.

I am over in Wa state, all the co-ops here make ya sign a paper that says you are making them your provider for that day and if you are donating they have a different paper. The cops can pinch ya up cus technicly it is ilegal unless you are their provider, but most cops wont cus you'll most likely beat it in court. It is really up to the cop, and a little advice to you is stay away from people on CL! If their meds were good they wouldn't have a problem getting rid of them! Most people on CL are new to growing and most of them don't know what they fuck they are doing!

It was basically an ad for a guy sayinghe had extra meds and was compliant within the law asking for a "donation" of 200 dollars and ounce. This being a transaction between 2 patients rather then a dispensary or caregiver and patient, which is what im unsure of being legal or not.

Yea I know not to trust CL ppl, more often then not its a scam (I been aroun dthe block a couple times)

But on a side note its not really always true that if your a beginner your medicine is garbage and you wouldnt have a problem gettingrid of it. I just moved to Co. and grew some pretty solid gear but dont have any patients or friends around to move my extra meds to so I guess im a exception to the rule =P

One of the most bullshit laws that has come out, right there with the child abuse one.....
There is obviously nothing wrong with this, but it is currently against the law and would be risking a lot.
Buyers are fairly "safe" but the sellers are targeted i believe if only randomly, i do believe it happens.
I imagine if you get the word out about that G13 and BLZ you showed us you will have no issue getting rid of it regardless of how much the "donation" is (within reason for current market conditions).

If you listen to Warren Edson (the guy who makes all his money representing dispensaries and claims growing a plant in your home is not legal) the answer is it is not legal, if you go by the state constitution it can be argued it is legal:


(b) Effective June 1, 1999, it shall be an exception from the state's criminal laws for any patient or primary care-giver in lawful possession of a registry identification card to engage or assist in the medical use of marijuana.
