Paul Ryan is such a caring young man

The Romney campaign apparently spotted an opportunity to make VP candidate Paul Ryan appear helpful and caring last week at a soup kitchen in Youngstown, Ohio.
But the head of the charity wasn't happy about the campaign's intrusion--or about a staged photo-op in the kitchen in which Ryan "washed" some clean dishes. And after the VP candidate left, the charity boss vented to the media.
Felicia Sonmez in the Washington Post:
The head of a northeast Ohio charity says that the Romney campaign last week “ramrodded their way” into the group’s Youngstown soup kitchen so that GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan could get his picture taken washing dishes in the dining hall.
Brian J. Antal, president of the Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society, said that he was not contacted by the Romney campaign ahead of the Saturday morning visit by Ryan, who stopped by the soup kitchen after a town hall at Youngstown State University.
“We’re a faith-based organization; we are apolitical because the majority of our funding is from private donations,” Antal said in a phone interview Monday afternoon. “It’s strictly in our bylaws not to do it. They showed up there, and they did not have permission. They got one of the volunteers to open up the doors.”
He added: “The photo-op they did wasn’t even accurate. He did nothing. He just came in here to get his picture taken at the dining hall...”
Upon entering the soup kitchen, Ryan, his wife and three young children greeted and thanked several volunteers, then donned white aprons and offered to clean some dishes. Photographers snapped photos and TV cameras shot footage of Ryan and his family washing pots and pans that did not appear to be dirty.

They didn't "appear" to be dirty, huh?
Maybe they were scrubbed already and needed the soap rinsed off.
Maybe your mad that Ryan helped a soup kitchen.

Instead of getting mad at Ryan, maybe the head of that place should have a talk with his volunteers about their bylaws...

The economy is anemic at best, four Americans are dead at the hands of muslim terrorists, the President of the United States is in the middle of the biggest cover up since Watergate and you're talking about soup kitchens?

Major Thread Fail!

If the media wasn't running cover for this idiot of a president, any opponent would win by a landslide!

Getting ready to blame someone for a Romney fail are you Beenthere? it's the polls (until the polls turn Romney's way and then they must be totaly accurate), its the moderator who asked hard questions, its the media, its the blacks, its always something other than reality isn't it.

The media is reporting Romney's gaffes and idiocy, are you blaming the media for the 47 percent comment or Ryan's 30 percent comment? Are you blaming the media for Romney's spray tan? For his silliness overseas? For his change in stance on taxes and immigration and the debt?

Ryan is simply showing his concern for the 30 percent of all americans who are "takers" by showing up at a soup kitchen after it has closed it's doors for the afternoon and all the pots and pans are clean - he wanted to show how concerned he was that the pots really honestly were spotless, after having spoken to.... none of the food kicthen recipients, barged his way in without invitation and endangered the kitchen's further funding by making it a partisan photo op.

Of course the right is perfectly willing to accept these phony photo ops, when Romney stood in front of coal miners who were ordered to stand behind him and not even paid overtime for the "privelege". Like Romney bussing support in for some of his rallies or events, like Bush "landing" on an aircraft carrier. You guys loooove these theatrics because they fit the narrative you so desperately cling to.

That picture and story is despicable. Posturing during a political season- What else is new? If you ask me, both sides are usually blame when it comes to this kind of nonsense- Perhaps not equally, but they all do it, that's for sure.

the economy has added jobs for over 2 and a half years straight, 5 million total. contrast with GOP record of 800k jobs a month being lost, total economic collapse imminent.

4 americans died in a foreign embassy attack after we got bin laden and decimated al qaeda. contrast with GOP record of 3,000+ americans dead on american soil, 9 embassy attacks, bin laden on the loose, and an unnecessary war of choice in iraq that left another 3,000+ americans dead.

major clayton FAIL.
