PC fan to speed controler help???

Spent a whole day on this,, and nothing good came from it.

PC fan has normal black & red wires. (so far so good)

Speed controller (specificly for PC fans) has 2 bundles (in / out)

one bundle grey-red-yellow
other black-red-yellow

I can get the fans to work with it, variable speed works well........
But it screals like a raped pig!!!!
Tried every combination I could come up with and the alarm is always on. Even let it sound for a full day in hopes it would burn it's self out, but didn't.

Help! (please?)

i have always found that comp fans are too weak
i take it wasnt one of these? i have had problems with the speedster.

I have them in the flower room. But these are in the clone / early veg cab.
Running 4 that I'm looking to contol. just can't seem to get the PC speed controller to work without the squeal!



2 large top are on timer and controlled by voltage.
Center and bottom are on full time w/ squealing speed controller. Seperate speeds are looked for on duel speed controller.
