Can i run say 4 pc fans off 1 12v charger and would they all get the 12v? or are they all sharen the 12v? so there getting 3v each?
The fans are rated at 12v. is this 12 output from the plug? All the chargers i find at 5v found a 9.5 i might use if i want to lose a set of speakers. Where are you guys getting your 12v plugs for your pc fans?

If you go to "FAQ" and then go to the "DIY and save $$" and then click on "growcabinets and boxes" and then go to the bottom selection and they have some good info on how many watts and all that good stuff you need.

Just use what ever it is the fan says it needs, you can go less, but the fan won't run as fast if at all

you can use a pc power supply, just jump the green wire to any black wire on the 24-pin atx connector. then you can run an abundance of fans at 12v/5v/3v.

any powersupply (those little black boxes that plug in the wall ie: for your modem) that take 120v AC from the wall and turn it into 12V DC. If you don't have one around the house you can sacrifice then check places like thrift stores, radio barns (shacks or otherwise non-flattering radio somethings lol).

Just be sure that the total amperage draw for your 12 volt fans don't exceed the amperage provide by the 12VDC power source whether it be a cell phone charger, modem power and so on. Don't use a 5V fan on a 12VDC source. You won't get full spin on all fans and or damage to the power source/fans can occur.
For an example, if you have a 1000ma or 1A 12VDC source(btw 1000ma = 1 AMP) and you want to plug in three 260ma or .26A 12 volt fans you have a total 780ma or .78A draw from the fans which would be safe enough to plug into that power source. But if you want to plug in 4 of those 260ma fans totaling to a 1.04A or 1040ma you exceed the amps the power supply can provide thus risking damage. Power supplies from 'puters are the most reliable and safest way to go if you want to use those mighty muffin fans.

I use two PC fans in my box. I used a few small adapters wired in series to stack up the voltage to 12v. The fans are wired in parallel.
