edit: The auction ends soon, I need to know if these would be good enough for a small cfl grow in my wardrobe (2meters tall 1meter wide .5 meters deep) before I go to work, maybe about 150 - 200 watts worth of cfl 1 intake 1 exhaust the other 2 to cool the lights, I'd really appreciate some feedback soon so I don't miss the auction http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Cooler-Master-4-x-120mm-ATX-12cm-Cooling-PC-Case-Fan_W0QQitemZ390037965249QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Components?hash=item390037965249&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I'm looking to buy 2 120mm PC fans 1 intake 1 exhaust, the exhaust will be pushing through a DIY carbon filter.
It's for a large wardrobe that'll be in my bedroom so I don't want noisy fans.
So what kinda specs should I be looking for?

do these one's look ok? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=310127616660 @ RPM: 2200 RPM
CFM: 106 CF/M

or

see these 2 ads have got me confused, the first one says 106 CF/M the athor one says Air Flow (CFM): 44.73 CFM, so the second one is not as effective as the first but it's allot quieter, will 44 cfm be enouth to move air through a large double wardrobe?

It's only a cfl grow so I dunno if I need the most powerful fans around, I just want to be able to sleep in the same room as them.

I saw some on ebay that claim to run at 19decibels..... is that good?
any recommendations?

ah so it's in your pc? my pc's noisy as hell so I want better fans than what I've got in there

to simplify my question, will these fans be powerful enough to cool my wardrobe 1 in 1 out and the other 2 aimed directly on the cfls, it's fairly large roughly 1.5 meters up 1 meter across and .5 meters deep

no its not IN my pc its a pc fan from radoshack re-wired to a 12v...what good would bringing a whole comp into my growroom do for one little fan? wtf?...lol:mrgreen::peace: oh ya and I doubt you can get it quieter than that bro...19 decibels is pretty damn quiet for a fan.

lol, thought you might've been talikn bout your pc, nothing to do with growing. mmmmmm kinda dumb to be thinkin that on this forum eh

what are you using for the 12v? I've got an old phone charger but it says output 3.7v, I was thinking about using an old PSU to power it but that just takes up space and makes more heat/noise

I used a charger from...I forgot. anything thats 12v like an RC car battery charger or something. Honestly I'm using a 7/8v charger and it works fine(Or so I think...) but the fan says 7/8 volts so maybe I just got lucky.
