PC Grow box

So finally i did it, me n' my friend already finished, i mean almost everything... We need the CFL's running on this bitch na mean? So if you got some suggestions, they are welcome. And tell me what you think about this grow box.

Looks good dog I just made 3 of these and am keeping 2 and sold for for $80!! You just need power strip now and the little socket addapters at walmart for 99cents each then BOUT 4 ctls and boom loks good!!

I love these little boxes. Then again i have a case of the grass is always greener syndrome. I always envy other peoples grow ops. If its sub mini like these i love it, then the huge ones i love, it happens with all my hobbies.

I have a mrgrowpro tower and love it.

put magnets on the back of the lights so you can change levels, Also find a mini scrog fence, magnets on the corners of that holding it up.

Imma get some magnets.. And what is the mini scrob fence?

Dunkno yet. I dunkno shit about nutes you know? If you do, you could explain me/tell me the nutes i should use. But forget about FoxFarm nutes and bla bla because i can't get those, just tell me what type of nutes i need to get.

haha I can't get my hands on those either, but this is what I DO know. If you find any friendly green store, try and look for the NPK ratios on the fert packages. This is the most important thing you should know about this, and from this you can improvise as much as you want. And this is that N (Nitrogen) is most important in veg, PK are not so important but still good to have as the plant will store it and use it later. Once you want to go into 12/12 you should feed them more P and K, but not forget about N as they will start to get yellow. I can't tell you more about specific nutes but on this forum you will find thousands of pages of info on this

So i will buy some separate nutes of N P K, or one with the three at once?

I think all of them has all 3 but in different ratios. You just have to find the right combination. Also never go for the time release ones, they will fuck-up your plants really bad. Also, since you're doing a grow in that small place you might want to check out LST (low stress training). It's used to keep plants small, and if you click on the link in my signature you can see what it means as I'm doing it right now to my babies

looks good JrOne424, myself I'm not using any nutes throughout veg, due to my soil has plenty in it FFOF (Fox Farms Ocean Forest). But will probably make me some organic tea with some Indonesian bat guano and some molasses and probably some other ingredients for flowering. You need to be careful using veg nutes, you have to make sure you flush well before floweing or veg nutes will still be in soil during your flowering and can cause problems.. All in all JrOne you have a nice setup..

I went to the hardware store and bought a small sheet of polycarbonate. It's heat resistive plexiglass. Score, and break to shape needed.

I placed the polycarbonate between the lights and the plant. My lights are stationary and plants have to be on risers in the beginning and slowly lowered as they grow. There are fans on both the front and back of the tower, above the plexiglass and right between the light fixtures. Used the polycarbonate and computer fans to make a cool tube for my CFLs.

When you go to the hardware store, it's in the plexiglass section.

I asked the guy working to cut it for me. Said they don't cut those for customers. Then pointed to the scoring tool knife tool thing, and asked if i knew how to score it to make a clean break. Of course I did. Just didn't want to, wanted him to do it. Either way you have to do it yourself, and asking for help apparently is questioning your manhood in the hardware store.

They make a smaller sheet more like the size of a letter paper. Half the size half the price. Just take a look at the shelf in the store.

YA thanks imma do that. So with that my plants can hit that glass without getting burnt

yeah basicly same thing I've seen in crazytrains grow, but its actually plexi glass if I remember right, and his plant grow up into it and doesn't seem to burn them..

here's the recipe for my organic tea i use if anyone wants to give it a shot.
Ive used it multiple times without any problems.


1 Gallon of water
1 TBSP of guano (for a flowering mix - use Jamaican or Indonesian Bat Guano - for a more general use fertilizer I would choose Peruvian Seabird Guano.)
1 tsp blackstrap or sugar beet molasses
1/2 C %3 Hydrogen Peroxide

mix the ingredients directly into the water and allow the tea mix to brew for 24 hours. It’s best to use an aquarium pump to aerate the tea, but an occasional shaking can suffice if necessary and still produce a quality tea. I will give you one hint from hard personal experience, make sure if you use the shake method that you hold the lid on securely, nobody appreciate having a crap milkshake spread over the room.
