Pc Grow Case

*PROBLEM: To date all PC grow cases on the market are only around 17 inches tall. Its extremely hard to grow a high yielding plant in such a small case.
*SOLUTION: My case is 24" tall allowing for approximately 40% more room to grow your plants BIG while still remaining stealth.

*PROBLEM: All PC grow cases I've seen have there light fixed at the top of the case while your plant sits at the bottom and any experienced grower will tell you grow lights more then a few inches from the top of the plants is inefficient for growing. This causes your plant to screech for the light in an already height restricted area resulting in unmanageable overgrowth. Also a plant that stretches for light will have less nodes per branch resulting in less yield. (nodes are where all plant yield forms)
*SOLUTION: My case offers an adjustable shelf to get your plants close to the light source while there young so they grow fuller which maximizes output later . Once your plants are tall enough the shelf can then be placed above the plant to act as a screen to keep branches from growing into the light. No other PC grow case offers this.

*PROBLEM: Most grow boxes on the market come with one big expensive light, but plants benefit from different light colors during different stages of development. During vegetative stage plants like lights that offer a color temperature of 6500 Kelvin, this color is bright white and best represents summer light. During flowering stage they like color temperature of 2700 Kelvin which represent fall light which along with the right light cycle tells plants it's time to flower.
*SOLUTION: Two sets of four lights. One set of four 6500K bulbs for vegetative stage and one set of four 2700K bulbs for flowering stage. By having four smaller lights equal to one big bulb, replacing the inevitable blown bulb is cheaper and your plants will never be completely without light. If a bulb blows just run to Wal-Mart and buy a replacement for a few bucks as apposed to ordering one of those big expensive Enviro or HPS bulbs while your plants die in the dark.

*PROBLEM: All PC grow cases on the market today try to impress you with there high priced hydroponics grow systems. Hydroponics is a great way to grow plants but not in such a small area. The smaller the hydro tank the harder it is to keep pH levels balanced and improperly balanced pH can kill a plant in days and even slightly off pH levels can dramatically affect yield.
*SOLUTION: For a grow of this size soil is the only way to go and offers much less complication. If you opt for the additional Fox Farm Soil and Fertilizer Nutrient Pack you'll receive Fox Farm soil and organic fertilizers for not only the vegetative stage but also the flowering stage to help you grow completely organic healthy high yield plants.

*PROBLEM: Other PC case grow boxes on the market look cooler then mine.
*SOLUTION: There need be no solution! Do you really think it's a good idea to have a PC grow case with a see through plexiglass side or for that matter any case so cool looking it attracts attention?
The sad truth is other PC grow case makers don't really care about your plants or they would have addressed these easily correctable issues. They cram there cases full of product you don't need to grow that sound or look cool just to jack up the final sale price. Don't give these greedy sellers $500-$900 of your hard earned money. I'm not going to lie I want your money too, but I want a reasonable amount for what I believe to be the most innovative and functional stealth PC grow case on the market today.

During vegetative stage plants thrive in high humidity and my internal humidifier raises humidity around 30% higher then outside the case. Other PC grow case makers offer a humidity gauge,.. but what's the point of having a humidity gauge if you have nothing to change the humidity with? The higher the humidity the better during veg. During flowering stage though low humidity increases yield so when your plants grow tall enough to be taken off the mesh shelf take the humidifying unit out, place the plants on the floor of the case, and switch to a fall light schedule which will induce flowering.

External LCD Multi Temperature Display

Monitors both internal and external case temperature as well as fan speed. A CD manual on how to use the display is included.

Two sets of four high output light bulbs
(8 bulbs total)
Four 6500K bulbs for vegetative stage and four 2700K bulbs for flowering provide 6400 lumen's (400 incandescent watts) during veg and flowering for your plants to grow BIG!

Adjustable Mesh Shelf/Fence
Gets plants up close to the light source to prevent stretching and increase fullness.,.. then use it atop the plants to keep your monsters from growing into the light.

ONA
Odor Neutralizing Agent to keep unwanted odors from blowing your cover.

24 Hour Light Timer
Set any light schedule you need for your plants with this very accurate light timer.

Optional Fox Farm Soil and Fertilizer Nutrient Pack
(adds $45)

Fox Farm is hands down the highest quality fertilizer on the market, plus it's 100% organic! If you opt for this add on you will receive enough Fox Farm soil for your first grow, a rectangular container that fits perfectly into the case to grow in, as well as Fox Farm Grow Big for vegetative stage and Fox Farm Tiger Bloom for flowering stage
(both 32oz bottles)

weedman42008,

That was a nice touch adding that Digidoc5 to monitor the ambient and inside temps. With the eight Digidoc 5 probes, you can monitor the temps of whatever you want with the flat and bulbous DD5 probes.

Nice little stealth setup. But not sure that your definition and my defination of big are the same:

Problem with stealth pc case growboxes is your still pretty limited to the limited dimensions of the PC case, especially if your using a traditional case with a max of 24" in height & most all normal pc cases are 8 or 9" in width.

How do you keep the light from escaping through the fans?
I built one of these once but I used a 20"x20"x20" UFO server type case I picked up on the cheap, it was similar to this expensive one, but the one I used was a bit larger than this one. it was dented, dinged and abused, but I brought it back to life by refurbing, getting a few parts replaced and finally repainting it.

What I did was utilize dual 90 degree dual elbow channel ducts to the rear of the PC case directly where the fan exit air was located (Did the same to the air coming in, but built the elbows internally via ducting, since it's active airflow verses passive, the heat was able to escape the channel type of ducting while the light spill was 100% contained.

I had two removable side doors, one I added one way mirror film so I could see the inner 'goings on', and for absolute stealth, I had a solid door with no window. Later on I bought one of those sheets of flexible magnets like they use to put on temporary signs on Vans and such. I just covered the window with the magnet sheet and it was back to stealth mode when I wanted it to be.

I also used a Digidoc5 to monitor temps like Weedman is using. It was kind of a neat project and was completely silent via a simple sunbeam fan controller. It came out really nice and used it to grow two plants, But I gave up on it as it was just a goofball project I wanted to do, they're just not practical due to the limited space, but perhaps for some people with no space, these things are decent, just stick dwarf plants in them or top them as many times as needed to grow sideways, in a cube PC, there's plenty of room for lateral growth, in a regular size pc case, there's only so much space to work with:roll:.

This is beautiful and i am so jealous of you. Now I have to make one or my life will never amount to anything...

It is a great Idea to sell stealthy cases like these but at the prices its almost more affordable to make your own out of an old PC tower is it not?

I've been looking to build a grow-case of much the same caliber as yours, but with a somewhat better airing system (5" fans (RC on back fans), in-built odour neutralisation box, etc), and a much better lighting system.

I came across a case that's slightly taller than yours- of the following dimensions:

- Depth: 17.51";

- Width: 8.27";

- Height: 26.3".

It allows for up to 9 fans, but air circulation is unpredictable and hard to control with that many fans. Thus, I will be dusting off the angle grinder and cutting holes to suit my preferred dimensions for 5" fans.

I would also prefer to allow the plant to purview to its full potential without having to use mesh to hinder growth (more than it already will be within a grow-case). To do this, I will be installing a 125x400 mm cool tube (with a 400w light; and a fan for heat flow). This way it will be possible to allow the colas to reach the light and not get burned. Of course, LST is a must within a grow case, but if each cola has to be hindered to stop it being burned, max-yield wont be accomplished.

guys, fact:
Its still a PC case, you dont want one.
For the same price you can get one the size of a nightstand that holds 3x more plants
PC cases, a fad that needs to die.

if you need something THAT small, your not meant to grow.

I don't agree. If its a fad, it's a good one for some people. I just finished my first PC grow that yielded a small mason jar of really solid stuff. The system sits in my bedroom, and my kids have no idea it's there since I also have two other functioning computers. It's perfect for a personal grow situation where large production isn't needed, or even desired. I won't even be half done with the stuff from my last grow by the time my new grow is done.

I'm totally relieved to not have to chase down a connection every 6 months, and throw down $100 for a bag of who-knows-what.

I love my little PC grow case.

Looking forward to buying one myself. Seems like a bright thing to do. :weed:

Dude this is so fuckin sick, I want one of these things so bad. This is the sickest way to grow ever in my opinion, cause anyone can grow this so easily anywhere. Right now I'm using my top drawer on my dresser. I just got this blue dream cutting, that my friend just snipped the other day off his plant. I didn't use rooting formula or anything just stuck it straight in the dirt. At least it's still green

lol wtf i just realized you could burn your plants real easy, if your plants get too close to the light, so how would you prevent this? i was thinking put a giant piece of glass straight across, but then again idk
