PC GROW COMPLETE (pics) 4 months about from seed to harvest

Hey guys, if you have any questions on specs or whatever let me know. Here's some pics, my scale is unfortunately out of commission, so any rough guesstimates of total weight would be appreciated. The battery in the pics is a AAA, thanks for stopping by.

my setup

The first pic is a bunch of popcorn bud that i vaped pre-harvest...i vaped about 5-6 times that amount plus took off one smaller cola to vap. I dont know how much weight that all would have added, but yes u can vape fresh of the crop and get ripped for awhile. As you can see, towards the last 3 weeks i'd say this girl started to have problem such as seen in the picture. I'm guessing either nutelock out...over nutes....and probably cal/mag of course

ill need to get back to you on that. I'll have to look at the tub or go back to the dollar store that i bought it from. What do you think quality wise? I know it took a hit in the end but is it possible to tell from the pictures?

That's OK, no need to go to all that trouble.
I was just wondering how tall the container was, I'm guessing it was the widest you could fit in the case?
Looks like your buds have real nice color to them, aside from the few leaves, but if it was me, I would have waited a little more, unless your trichs were already full cloudy.

Does pulling all the popcorn bud on the lower canopy affect bud production on the top at all? I was thinking of just pulling 1 or 2 for a smoke test but seeing how you pulled a good amount I would like to know if this has any negative affect on the plant.

Usually the popcorn matures last, so it is usually left on after the buds are chopped to finish, so if you DO pull one to smoke, it won't hurt, but it will not give you an accurate taste of what the finished plant will be like.

Thanks for the info. So people harvest the main colas and then still leave the popcorn buds until they "fully" mature also?? Just a little confused on this part because do people still feed/water the popcorn buds after they harvest? Or do they just leave them alone for a couple of extra days after the main harvest and then chop them? Thanks again for sharing the knowledge

No prob man.

You can do it both or either way.
Personally, I don't flush, and don't starve my plant at the end like some guys do, but if you are one that does stop feeding or flush the last 10-14 days, you will have to make the choice whether or not to start feeding again if you think it will take more than the 10-14 days for the popcorn to finish.
Most of the time, for me, it's less than a week, so I only get maybe one more water in, so I just give water only instead of wasting the nutes.
Check out the last few pages of my last thread, and you will see how I chopped most of it, then like 2 days later, I finished it off.

Ya, somebody in my current thread suggested today I trim all my lower stuff on my Purple Kush for just that reason, and I'm just now flipping to flower tonight.

the pot was 104.6 oz i believe the thing said...so this thing says like 70-80% the size of a gallon

Nice PC grow bsmooth! What strain is that?

I've done Blue Mystic (fem) in a PC case, and have an Auto Sweet Mango going in a PC now with about 3 weeks left. The Blue Mystic was a beast. This Auto Sweet Mango didn't bush out quite as much, but I was lazy with the LST too....probably since I was doing 2 plants at the same time.

Without feeling how dense those final trimmed buds are...I will guess more than 1/2, but less than 3/4 zip. I could be way off though...my eyes never were that good lol.

I don't know much about anything, but instead of trimming off the popcorn buds you could just let them grow and make hash with them and the rest of the trim.

If you set the buds on a scale and take a pic, that would help

my scale somehow broke =/. I also think i tried my buds too much left them hanging for 8 days and now put them in jars, i feel that i dried too much to have to sweat them in paper bags. Since from what I've read i need SOME moisture in the bud, how best should i rehydrate my buds w/o getting mold?

Ohw that would suck. From what I have read having it dried too much is not something you can just undo by rehydrating.
I would get a humidity sensor and check it out first before making a drastic choice.
