PC Grow: hurtles, hurtles, and more hurtles

Hey everybody,

So I'm starting my first real grow in a PC case because I can't have my parents find out, that would be bad.

Instead of making a thousand "how the hell do I do this?" threads I'll just ask all my questions in this thread.

So first off, I'm in the proccess of gutting the PC but I have no clue how to remove these studs that secure the driver bays to the rest of the case:

2nd problem,

I want to wire these 3 LEDs that will make the PC look like its working with these 2 fans. Would it be possible to wire all 3 to one plug?

Thats it for now

Thanks

Ok i aint good with pot (never smoked) but im good with computers. Leav the power supply. (its got a fan in it and when you turn it on (depending on the year it will contine to run). I do not know about the lites but if you are good with wires you can rig up a lite from the power supply and then at the bottom put your soil and plant (tin foil the rest) and start the lites and then shut the door and when its time to shut the lite off unplug the cord from the back.

im just making crap up as i go so yeah maybe it will work idk.

yeah its possible to wire them all to one plug, but the power will be shared by the 3 leds so light will be dimmer but im sure this wont be a mega amount and ull still be satisfid.

I have finished gutting the case and it looks pretty good, now I need to light proof the box and figure out how I should wire the LEDs + fans tomorrow.

3 more questions:

In a PC grow, since space is limited, should the lighting schedule be 24/0 (veg) and 12/12 (flowering), or should it be all 12/12?

Is there a brand of ferts that I can buy from walmart or home depot that work well?

I'm hoping to go with 3 27w CFLs, but can I stick with just 2700k bulbs or will I also need 6500k bulbs?

thanks

yet another thread by someone growing in there parents house. Prolly underage ( under 18 ).

grow up.. move out.. grow weed.

in that order
90% agreement.

10% percent of me believes he is not under 18, but 19 yrs old. just call it intuition.

i don't think that most people weigh the risks involved when starting a grow in or on property that is not legally theirs. can you imagine losing your parents house, cars and nest egg due to your poor judgment.

damn.

one eon ago, when i was a kid we grew on government property for this very same reason. it is still not advisable but, at least in a worst case scenario mom and dad can take a 2nd mortgage to pay for your lawyer fees and court costs while still being in ownership of their house.

think about what you are doing and who else it will affect, that's all.

peace.
