PC Planter

Hey this is my first post I registered to ask this question anyone ever used this or tried it could you tell me how it works

That looks pretty cool. But I think it is too small for even one plant. It looks to be a hydroponics kit. It has a light to make the weed grow, fans to cool the temp, probably a water pump and a fish tank pump, Im sure it has a timer too.

Ok I went back and looked closer. It looks like you just use some pots and hand water it. I still think its a little too small to work with.

wow.. thats looks awsome. maybe you could use it to grow them big enough for veggies then take them out and put them somewere else for flowering.

and also
there looks like theresa aqua duct for watering on there. so you could just fill that up and maybe have a timer to feed them at a certain time then you fill them back up. so you put the water in there 3 days before watering so it distills, and it waters then and you fill it up wen u get home to check them. anyways thats just a guess.

and a cage on the light so the plant dosnt touch it and burn the house down and get everyone stonned in the process. lol

Well it uses a 50 watt HPS which is kinda cool. It is a hydro type using a bubbler and rubbermade. I agree that it is too small to get anything decent out of it, but I like it just because it is cool. Maybe it could be used as a small aero cloner. Although I have a couple PCs hanging around that I don't use, so I would build it for less than a hundred bucks, instead of paying 600 for it!

if u read the desciption it says the plant can grow to 16 INCHES in the box!! i know that plentys of height for some great bud

start 12/12ing them out at 10 inches would be my guess....what ya'll think??

You could sog in it but not very big plants would go into flower at like 6 inches tops then youd have to prune lower stuff as colas came in.$600 they smokin crack though.That case new on ebay is $68 shipped.The rest is minimal.What $25 light 10 reflective.pump maybe 12 bucks.air pump 6-8 cups $.38 cents each.res tray 5-8 bucks timer 4 bucks.

Yeah dude, I have seen people attempt and complete a grow in a PC case.
It can, and has been done. However, I just dont get it...and for $600.00! Holy shit, what a rip off! You could build this yourself for a 10th of the price tag, and with the left over cash, buy some weed to hold you over til your harvest, and afterwards you'll have enough for the weekend.

My friend has the same basic setup as that PC case without the hydro system. He is growing lowryder. It should be the perfect size for the tower he is using.

i have one. don't buy it - build something much, much better for that money.

looks cool a shit. but i dont think u would get enough bang for your buck.

ive seen 3 plants in a PC tower b4 and it got me thinking bout makin 1 myself but i was wonderin with 3 plants and if u bent them n such to reduce the height
how much would you guess the yield to be?
like i know it has to do with strain and stuff but like just give me a ball park guess

this seems like the perfect setup for me seeing as how i must be discrete for the next couple of years..however i like to think of myself as a keen consumer and i can tell that these items do not cost 600$. Can somebody teach me how to build this thing step by step or is it way too complicated to explain. Ive never attempted to build a project like this, is it worth the buy?

Saw a few issues:

(paraphrased)
Keeps temp less then 10F above room temp. Can crow in a 90F room.
So inside temp can be 100F and thats ok???

The thermal switch. I see that causing a lot of hermies with disrupted light schedules.

Kinda pricey, but its a full kit (minus a pH meter) Almost a great starter kit.
