Peakseeds bc test

hey i just ordered a pack of mixed seeds from peak seeds i sent the letter with my payment in the mail...the thing is i live in the same city as the mailing address. so ill see just how fast this guy is with my order.. i chose this site cause ive heard good things about it. but some people said they took so long to get there seeds. hopefully this wont be the case being that the guy could just walk to my house and hand them to me. we shall see..
ps i have a rubbermaid set up ready to make some good chron

yo anyone from Canada ever order from this place. i know theres issues with the states but frick i live in the same city so how long would you guys think it would take. i sent out my mail with the payment this morning. i went straight to the post office so i mean it can't be that long till he gets it..

I've made an order from them, took less than a week to receive the goods. Of course, I'm just across the water from Victoria...

No complaints from me, I'd order from them again.

I order from Ontario but I use express post to mail my money an in turn he sent it back but I made a sizeable order so he through in the express post return. I have also grown out thier northern lights an skunkberry WICKED STRAINS I tell ya. I have five strains right now just waiting for room. PEACE

thats good to know i hope i get some northen berry in the mixed seeds i ordered cause it just sounds so tastey and i hope they like nutes im gonna grow em in worm castings 90% with some dirt and gravel on the bottom for drainage.. and to help with all that fert im gonna put in some flora nova when i see pretty little buds..

ps how long did it take you to get ur order.. from when you sent the mail out

omg Canada post fails yet again. i posted my letter on Monday and MJ still hasn't gotten it. i mean wtf its across town.. i should have just dropped it into his mailbox myself.

mj put them in the mail this Friday so i hope i get them soon.. hoping for Monday but i suspect with the crappyness of the postal system around here plus the fact that its almost Christmas im gonna bet that it won't be here till friday

Peak Seeds BC is awesome! I hope you get some skunkberry seeds in the mix, and I really hope you find the grape soda pheno. I had one skunkberry that seriously smelled and tasted like grape soda. If you get some sweet skunk in the mix it will stretch big time.

My only addition to this would be....do not trust the Canadian mail system. I know this guy has good gear and all, but it's really not fair for breeders to ask customers to order at their own risk b/c they refuse to get a credit card modems. And I told the owner of this company the same last evening.

It is totally fair. You realize they put a lot of risk into this for us? You're upset because he doesn't want a paper trail. If you were taking the sizable risk he is, you wouldn't want to minimize your chances of something going astray? I'm not sure where you're from, but in canada, our current federal government is not supportive of breeder's efforts. Outstanding breeder! Always sent order, always quality beans. 2 years and numerous orders later.

I just received an email from Peak, stating the order has shipped today. The below is a paste of my response. While I can understand breeders not having credit card modems, there are many distributors in both Canada and Europe set-up with bank card systems...like an Attitude etc. available for use.

Would I order again from Peak?....yes if he will accept my credit card.

"I broke the record, it took 26 days to arrive there. I believe the previous record was 22. Some idiot must have routed that envelope to New Brunswick or somewhere...lol. I wanted to take a moment to explain why I took such a hard stance on payment methods. It wasn't just you, I targeted every breeder across the globe that isn't accepting convenient payment methods currently. The reason being is that the USPS is doing some major downsizing during the holidays of all times. This means all pay by mail coming from and going to the US will be even slower. The other reason is my own expectations, as in I need to lower them. I ran my own distribution company(construction)for almost a decade, so I tend to expect a lot with respect to customer service."

Yep. You can't take the time or effort to get a credit card processing machine and pay the 1% transaction feed, you aren't getting my business.

Now watch the beans take another month to get back here...good thing I ordered from Sannie. I already have a herijuana coming up less than 2 weeks after placing the order.

The envelope arrived, 25 days to get to Vancouver...and 4 days to get back to Chicago.

Go figure

I haven't opened the seed packets yet, will do so in the morning. He has some sort of industrial machine he used for packaging, tough as nails...could probably survive being run over by a tank....lol
