Take it for what it’s worth, but I have ordered from JAH twice and all went very well.
I have heard lots of people share a similar sentiment and im not trying to discredit those who have had good experience. However there are others who claim he spazzed out on them for no reason or asking basic questions and never sent their seeds.
Bit of a gamble it seems.

I gotta warn people to stay the hell away from JAH seeds. The guy is a selective scammer and is super angry, confrontational and unprofessional to say the least.
Besides the fact that you may or may not recieve your seeds at all, just take a look at the guys website and social media.
The guy is an absolute hack as a grower. His grow rooms look disgusting and his plants look awful and super unhealthy.
Yes his seeds are cheap but thats for a damn good reason but his peak knock offs arent cheap for some reason. The fact that he knocked off peaks work and f2'd them and then charge double is lame. I wouldn't trust this guys genetics to be what he says they are and he has issues with cross pollination.
Buyer beware. Big time.
I've grown Jah's Starry Night, Crockett's Haze, Sweet Dragon and a few others. Don't know about his dos and don't but I can write that I have been lucky to have grown his seeds and have an order for Blue moon waiting to arrive.

I’ve heard of people having problems with jah but I never have and he’s always quickly responded to my questions with a lot of useful info, never felt like I was annoying him or anything.

From what I was able to tell when I looked into it a long time ago, is that there were a small group (or one person) that was really harassing him and he didn't want to put up with it. It was right when he was starting out and I'm personally suspicious that it was someone intentionally trying to get him fired up and make him look bad.

I'm not going to spend the CSI time required to find the reddit or posts attacking him, but they were suspiciously over the top.
I thought they were being a bunch of C you next Tuesdays.

Can you imagine putting up with people's shit with a seed business? Lots of people saying their seeds didn't pop when they either messed things up or are lying. Tracking is now mandatory for shipping seeds...

If anyine is loojing for peaks c99 jah seeds is working with it and has seeds....i hear hes a good breeder.i havent grown any as i just foynd out about this breeder a month ago.. he has a shit ton of strain too
I would take anyone claiming to be " working " anything from PeakseedsBC , with a grain of salt. MikeJ already did all the work . Anyone selling seeds from any of his worked lines , is actually just trying to cash in off of his work.
It is very easy to have a shit ton of strains when you aren't the one doing any of the actual work of building them.
Don't know anything about Jah seeds and the posts here have done nothing but insured I never will lol

Cheers :)

The jah guy started out selling his chucks for $1/seed, iirc. It was very clear he was not any sort of breeder and didn't seem very experienced. His shtick then was that he just wanted to get people cheap seeds. Sounds like the business model has changed.

There are other people who have preserved MikeJ's work and have made it available without charge. Just gotta poke around some of the smaller boards.

Thank you for confirming what my gut was already telling me.
The exact opposite of what the philosophy at PeakseedsBC always was.
Most solid , worked gear , for the best price , for decades. No wonder some simple ,cash hungry , chucker , is trying to cash in on a real breeders work.

Glad I have multiple packs of MikeJ's entire catalogue from the past 10 years. Even more so glad , that he always kept the prices ridiculously low and always hooked me up bigtime above what I had ordered.
Fuck paying these clowns mark up on someone else's hard work. Tons of folks offering repros of Peaks gear for free or super cheap.
Fuck the dudes trying to cash in on it.

Cheers :)

PSBC Sweet Skunk from a preservation run by @Rozgreenburn. The intent was to just germ test these, but they grew so vigorously that I decided to run them.

3 weeks in a solo cup, followed by a repot into half gallon pots, then an immediate flip. This is about 4 weeks into flower. Wonderful stinky smells and vigorous growth. Clearly lots of potential in these.

The bulk of the run was donated to another website's preservation stash for its members, but I kept a few dozen for myself. If they finish well, my intention is to give away a pack or two here. If anyone wants them, of course.

I'd certainly be keen mate. I'm heading back to the UK for a month in mid may . Would you send to the UK If I paid postage?

I'm also on the lookout for 'Peak seeds' C-99 . I've heard It's pretty much close to the orig from early 2000

Perhaps. Post to the EU from the US is strangely expensive. Like three times what you lads pay to send things here. Then there is the potential for confiscation.

First things first, let’s see how they finish I suppose.

I have his Cindy and NL as well. Preservation runs are in the cards somewhere.

Great news that you also have psbc Cindy and NL. I'd seriously be interested in helping to preserve those strains also. They are beautiful relics from my younger days and stand up against many of today's offerings imo.

I don't mind paying the postage. Seeds are legal in the UK as long as they are for 'souvenir' purposes only.

I feel it's important that mike's gentics get preserved for future generations to come. He after all, did a sterling job in preserving those older classic strains.

I forgot to mention his blueberry would also be worth preserving too.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I look forward to updates on the sweet skunk run.
