Its nice to know you guys did get some good cbd ratios on other phenos. Just have to do a pheno hunt I guess. Test them all.
At current TGA pricing, why should a grower have to do a pheno hunt? I have one Pennywise female in veg, have made two clones, and am now waiting to do testing on the product once flowering is done. Speaking of being "done" -- I think I'm done with the inconsistency of TGA. I've grown out five differenct TGA strains and have had both hits and misses. I simply don't have the patience to deal with misses -- limited space and plant numbers dictate I need success with each plant.

Lets say I want a high CBD strain that produces a good amount of bud and doesn't taste like crap. How long does it take me to find the right pair of parents to breed for this? Maybe I get lucky and find them on the first try, or maybe (can only grow 6 plants at a time) it takes me and 5 of my buddies a year or more of parent selection and test growing. I also have limited space for growing, so I'll gladly pay someone else to do the breeding selection and test growing for me. I understand this doesn't work for everyone, but $200 dollars worth of seeds to find the one pheno that I want for my garden is good by me. Some day the laws will change here and I will be able to do my own breeding, but until that day breeders can name their price and I'm happy to pay it.

i hear ya big sky
i grow mainly for myself and a few patients, so i was really hoping to get a good pennywise for cancer patients, i just got R4 (20% CBD 1%THC) locally. so i am switching to that for my high CBD and just make RSO and coconut oil for edibles.

i am looking at it this way, yea it takes time and space and you dont get much from the mom if you dont take the time to bush it out, which i dont do. so i am doing selection as quick as i can. like right now i have 4 Dr Who girls from 5 seeds, my best ratio yet. and they are looking very similar, but i am going to have each one tested first. im just going to invest in a kit to test, worth the money.

taste has never been an issue for me every thing taste great, which i love about TGA. i look at it like this, i dont need much qty for myself, but i do need to cover my costs, i like having a strain for a little while, i keep a head stash for a few years if i ever want a taste again. i like having new strains. i get tired of them pretty quickly. but yea at first it was fun pheno picking, but when you get one female from 5 seeds and you have to go with whatever you get for a little bit. i am just realizing i dont have the time and space also to be pheno picking all the time, i only do 4 cycles per winter and take the summer off from indoor.

Agent Orange (one girl, lost to bugs, great yield and good smoke, potent)
Chernobyl (one girl, lost to bugs, very frosty, not as potent as i like, low yield)
Dairy Queen (2 girls, ran once, killed to lower potency, nanners)
Qrazy Train (1 girl, ran 3 cycles and killed, lower yield 3% CBD 19%THC)
3D (2 girls, ran 1 cycle, lower potency than i wanted, lower yeild hash than i liked) i enjoyed it though, almost kept it going longer
Timewreck ( one girl, did 3 rounds so far, dont like the weak stems, frosty, debating on letting it go, ~15%)
Pennywise (3 girl, choose wrong pheno 20%THC 0%CBD)
Mickys kush (debating on keeping, 1 girl, on 2nd round, buds are very light weight. but potent 23%, happy high)
Dr Who (harvest in 3 wks, 4girls) worried about low yeild, 2 are looking more frosty but they seem very simiar.

Space bomb seeds still in package?
pandoras box seeds still in package?
Galatic Jack (want)
Screwdriver (Want)

non TGA
Permafrost (very potent, lost to bugs)
Purple Mr Nice, low potency, but so purple almost black, killed
J1 (ran 2x, just got tired of it, good taste, had a low ceiling)
Wubble (harvest in 4-5 wks) 80% sativa but not as crystally as TGA, gonna wait and see, doesnt look like a winner, but i hear its potent so you never know???

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Just seen some folks who did a Penny pheno hunt and got a girl that tested at 19%CBD and 6% THC. Just thought id share. :-)

That is a 38% THC pheno? THCA =THC, after decarboxylation.
