Personal opinions on seeds for an efficient indoor grow

What's up RIU,
Been a while since I have last been on the site but I know that when I need advice, this is the first place I come. I have been generally doing outdoor grows for the past few years. I am now in a position where I can freely grow indoors with a decent amount of space. I know I could browse for a couple hours and find about everything I need to know. I am not really asking common questions as much as I am just looking to see what a few of you prefer yourselves.
here is what I am working with:

-up to 110 sqft of room to work with (I plan on putting up a wall in my basement for it)
-1 600 watt hps bulb with an open ballast
-1 150 watt hps bulb open as well

I am trying to grow something that won't need too much attention as I have a busy schedule most of the day, and I am trying to grow something rather quickly, but it still needs to be high in quality.

Any personal experiences with specific auto flowering plants, or any plant at all that you feel would require an intermediate skill set as far as growing goes, please feel free to help me :D

Obviously any help will receive +++

Btw I know how to set up the room just was wondering specific strains and or how many you think I could do thank you all

you can do as many or as a few as you wish, however what buzz you looking for? Indica? Sativa? In my experiences Jilly Bean was nice to grow, also I recommend Chernobyl

metal halides are best for quality all around as generic blue white ones have the closest to full spectrum sunlight. sodiums have higher outputs and as they mimic the pink and orange warm summer sunset, they trigger flowering for bigger yields, so yeah, if you want yields, you want to stick with sodiums, but halides will give you better flavors and THC profiles.

if you want efficiency, SCROG your plants with topping and extra vedging for more bud sites. then, ALL of your buds will think they're top colas and you'll get the most efficient use of every square inch of your lights.

high times did a report about switching half of the lights off at a time in a big room to lower temps, and found the yield dropped very little, maybe 15%. you could always use light movers for the same effect. it's just hard to come up with a way to allow your vent tubes to bend or stretch with moving hoods.

SCROGging is also the best for multiple strain grows as height is taken out of the equation.

read up on other supercropping techniques.

lowryders aren't that great for supercropping unless you breed them. they don't yield much per plant and buying a bunch is expensive. they're good for stealth grows and breeding giant plants down, but hybrids will give you better yields.

then there's flowering time. fast flowering strains used to be considered cash croppers if the yielded just 350 grams per square meter, but larger slower strains can yield up to 750g or possibly more in the same space, so yield is a balancing act.

light movers will definitely give you the biggest yield per watt if you have the space for them. one of my guides or high times mentioned something about plants absorbing light in cycles and even suggested experimentation with strobe lights. light movers might put half of your plants in low light at a given time, but they also give your middle plants full coverage front to back. that's why plants stretch into light.

if you want the most efficient turnaround, you'll need to dial in your planting or cloning times and do a perpetual harvest with a mother room. then, as soon as you harvest, you're adding new gals ready to flower. you could also do the same thing in 2-4 stages of growth if you'd rather work it a little at a time. that would be best with the smallest mother room using fewer starters per cycle
