Petition for a sub forum

I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be awesome to have a product reviews sub section to this forum. There's so many threads that get started all over the place (not just in the grow room forums) about which lights to use or what ballast is reliable yadda yadda yadda.

I think it would be an amazing resource to have to go to, and it would be much simpler to navigate than drudging through other threads to find something about that awesome new digital ballast you're looking into buying

Just use the search bar... that's what it's for. I'm sure whatever you are trying to find reviews for is on here.

The people here are not Consumer Reports. All you would end up with is a collection of varying personal opinions with the occasional argument tossed in just the same as when someone asks what is the 'best' strain or the 'most potent' strain of the 'highest yielding' strain.

There is never a consensus and you will likely not see one when it comes to equipment either.

Sounds like a breeding ground for undercover salesmen. Also it is true that it will just be a pissing for distance match up anyway, no one will agree on anything, and everyone has the best set up. I have to agree with Brick Top, we are far from "Consumer Reports" in this forum. You almost got me to vote for the bat mobile, but I had to man up and vote to put the kibosh on this one.
