I am trying your method tonight. Ill post a picture.

I used a pressure cooker when I did pf tek, I guess you can boil them or whatnot huh?

I did pf my first grow...10 jars. 4 stalled so i chopped em up and spawned those less than 4 jars to a small tray with horse poo. I got less than an ounce from my 6 cakes and over 2zips frm the tray. Obviously more exp probably would have yielded more but next run i spawned 10 jars of grain and 10 wbs to 4 monotubs and i dont have time to finish writing this, i have been to busy picking the damn things....pf sucks.

ive had amazing flushes with PFtek, my avatar is one of them :)
That is a fantastic flush.

But most do not understand the art of pin set.

Pf people think it is pretty much luck.

There is a specific method of obtaining killer flushes for any type of mushroom.

Dude, this is not directed at you but readers in general.

A perfectly flat substrate is the first.
Then a perfectly flat casing but within it are tiny ridge one can make a nail comb for this.

Now you can manage the emergence of the mycelium.

The substrate to casing ratio must be at least six to one. This ensures a highly populated pin set while ensuring enough power to cause each pin to mature, no aborts.

Air exchange, light, and temperature differential need to be applied simultaneously. Light is especially important and strong light is needed.
This orchestration should be initiated just as the mycelium reaches the surface.

The air should stay at a constant 90 to 95 rh.

If all this is timed right, you will get a wall to wall flush. You will get between sixty and seventy percent of all potential yield, the rest coming from the second and third.

I agree Cando, with PFTek I think it is LUCK when it comes to getting the water/evap PERFECT to cause the insane pin sets. I had cakes go from CRAZY pin sets to literally SINGLE mushroom flushes, check it. This guy is an Albino A+ along with several other random flushes from previous grows. Last photo, believe it or not was the first flush! I dont know why it varies this much.
