So I just got my first bubbleponics system goin and I my Ph is all over the place. I get it down to 6.5ish then 4 hours later it's off the charts. Does anyone know a trick to keep it stable?

Well, ph can vary like it is due to your plant using nutes, and or drinking water. Its probably happening because your plant is growing and getting mature. In other words, things are happening in a good way :)

One thing you can do (if you do not already have one) is make a reservoir so that you have more nute solution, so it changes slower. I found mine was all over the place at 1st also, but just keep it at 5.5-6.0 and it should stabilize.

That's mine (3 buckets and one res). It stays fairly stable....tends to creep upward a little each day...I been keeping mine at 5.6-5.8.

I have General Hydro grow nutes, and Ph down. And yeah I know 6.5 is a lil high, but I don't want to make too big of changes at one time.

Stop trying to force it. Check it once a day at at the same time every day. Adjust it every day. let it swing and it should come to a more narrow range unless something else is wrong. Nutes do matter in several ways. I don't worry about it as long as it stays between 5.5 and 7.o, and my plants do great.

Try and make a new batch of water for the setup today and let it sit with JUST NUTES overnight. Check it in the morning to see if it needs up/down. Usually people try to PH without letting the nutrients do their proper job. Most nutrients for hydro come PH balanced already and you just make a mess of it trying to up/down it right after adding nutes and water.

Let tap water settle with just nutes first for an 18-24 hr period I cant stress enough IDK about RO water never used it.

Test PH Use up/Down IF NECESSARY or accordingly.

I find if the nutes are not PHd correctly after a 24 hr period GH Up/Down PH Kit tends to sit at the level you set it to for most of the process. I never had any problems with it. GL

It could be a couple of things. It could be your water. You need to use RO if your tap is over 300ppm and then you's still need to run one of those hard water nute solutions like GH Micro for hard water. And yes, let it sit for at least 24 hours with bubbling it withe bubble wands to evaporate the chlorine. I actually never need PH up or down anymore. I got my solution down pat and it's super stable, not to mention super simple. I start with RO water (20 ppm) use bcuzz bloom boster (it's very very ph stable) and GH 3 part. I tried GH florolicious bloom booster one time and it created a situation where my nutes were all over the board much like you're describing. This solution always puts me at 5.7 ph at 900ppm and does not fluxuate. I would not suggest florolicious but bcuzz is great.
