My blackjacks are looking great/green/bushy being grown in soil.I never measured the ph throughout the entire grow till today when i got a ph tester. The tester is accurate. Here is the problem,i tested my tap water at 7.3
Then i added my fox farm nutes as recommended by them for week 1 of flowering. Then tested the water again and got 4.5 I added the recommended amount of big bud 1/8 tsp to the gallon and it went to 4.0
I couldnt believe my nute water was 4.0 so I added baking soda 1/8tsp to the gallon and it rose to 5.6.I then mixed up another batch of nute water as i wanted to see what the level would be without the big bud and it was 4.5. So I then added 1/8 tsp to the mix and brought it up to 6.6 then watered one plant with the 6.6 nute water to get run off and that tested at 6.1.
So I dont know what to make of it.This is my first grow, the plants look great, but do i feed them 4 PH nute water,or do i bring it up with baking soda to the 6's.I never checked in the past what they were getting.Does any of this add up to anyone???
