ph keeps rising

i set my ph to 6.5 yesterday and today the same bucket of water phed 8 or plus .is this normal or does it have to do with my ph down formula

It is normal.

i mix 33 gal. at a time. it sets for a week or more befor i use it all and my ph stays tne same.

soil or hydro?...if you are hydro then yes it is normal to have fluctuations from the run off depending on what nutes and addatives you are using...if you are soil and the bucket is your feed water that you just left out overnight and it swung that much then i would take a look at my testing equipment or procedure....

i am growing in soil and the bucket sits on the floorovernight and it rises i use flairform ph test kit i dont know wtf is going on i am going to get a couple diferent test kits and do some tests i guess

Are you testing tap water and then letting it sit out over night and then testing it again? If so it might be because when water sits out the chlorine evaporates/dissipates along with other chemicals put into our drinking water that the government says is "safe". Anywhoo, try letting it sit for a day before testing it, then test a day after that... after some of the toxins have left the water.

or if you already have left it out a day or two... do you have a lid on your water bucket?

open to air will allow changes in ph.....
