is it normal to keep adjusting you PH level daily? I started a grow in a AG and everyday the ph level goes up, and I have to bring it back down. Is this normal?

how about a few details, what's an ag? usually, there's a good reason for ph flux. it's better to find and fix the reason, as opposed to chasing your ph, which is never a good idea.

Sure, it changes constantly. As water evaporates and nutes are eaten your pH as well as your ppm will vary. Your ppm goes down as plants eat and your pH usually goes up as plant waste degrades and salts, etc build up. The AG is such a smal tank (1gl.), it doesnt take much to change the pH or ppm. Any pH between 5.2 & 5.9 is good... 5.8 is perfect. Keep it on the acidic side to avoid root problems but not so low or high to lock out nutes..

a gallon?!?!?! that's tiny! keeping the ph stable will be as easy as increasing the size of your rez. 5 gallons is good.

I use Fox farm nutes and I have a hard time keeping the pH up. It wants to run around 5.0 and must have buffers to keep it there. It's really hard to increase it much over 5.5.
