Ph meter broken. urgent math problem please help.

Ok so my ph meter broke and i had to run out and buy a liquid ph testing kit.

It only has colors for 5.0 6.0 and 6.5 ph. I have a 7.0 calibration solution. I need to know how much GH ph down, PH 1.2 phosphoric acid, to add to the 7.0 calibration solution to make a PH 6.0 solution. This way i can have the exact color that 6.0 is from the test kit for reference. And when i test ph of bucket i can compare the color to the true 6.0 color. Anyone? Show us how smart you are.

Dilute your soultion with some water, add a few drops to the water to be adjusted, check Ph...repeat as required.

What? Just use the 6.0 strips. If you can keep pH around 6.0 you are golden.

ps I never use calibration solution, I calibrate my meter to RO water that I know is 7.0.

LOL. Umm how about just buy another meter... then again that would be too easy. Even a cheap one is like 30 bucks or less on ebay that would be not accurate but I am guessing more accurate then the witch craft you are trying to perform here. LOL

Witchcraft.......I love it! I used to phup one drop at a time, per 5 gallon bucket, The ph kit I had you filled about a 1/2 ounce of your water into a little testtube they provide with the kit and added 3 drops of thier ph test kit solution then checked the color...if its not right add another drop of ph up to your water and try again...and again and again...Witchcraft? It was hell I do say!
