ph meter question - Canna flowering nutes

Sup RIU,

Just entered the third week of flowering and my girls seem to be doing perfect. I changed the nutes to the flowering ones, 2 weeks after I switched to 12/12 (2 days ago). Until then, Ph values were optimal day by day, as I was getting accustomed to growing for the first time. While in veg, Ph was always around 5.8-5.9, so apart from the beginning, I never had to use Ph down. Anyway, when I changed to flowering nutes (Canna Aqua), Ph was 6.3 after a couple of hours, so I decided to add around 10 drops of Ph Down. I did it and for one-two hours, Ph dropped to 6.1 and again rose up to 6.3-6.4 today.
I checked the digital Ph meter, re-calibrated and did some monitoring to distilled and tap water and everything seemed cool (meaning the meter works fine).
So, my question is, what is going on? Does any1 have an idea? Just wanna be sure..

Thanx in advance for any insight/help,

Cheerz

I had the same issue using canna flores a+b... make sure you are taking your reasons after adding the nutes.. from what I remember adding the distilled water helped but I would say just monitor it closer... you are using the right nutes by canna for the right setup right? Because they make nutes for different setups like dwc... ntf ect...

are you using bubble stones? Canna says there's no need to use air stones with their products since canna has a good buffer for pH

hey there! thanx for the quick reply m8 :)
Im using nft (40 liter tank) with Canna Aqua nutes :)
With the veg nutes, didn't have this, when added the Ph dropped after a couple of hours to optimum values (5.7-5.9).
With the Canna flowering nutes, I see that when added, it raises the Ph(?!). Apart from 10 drops of ph Down (I was using around the same amount to drop ph in veg when needed and everything was cool), haven't done anything else.

I always get a little queasy when I read stuff from other growers about using pH up and down. It seems like an awful lot of work for growing, and it doesn't have to be that way.

The pH Perfect® technology is rocking my grow room. Really. Not that I've had pH problems in the past, but now I really have it easy. I don't have to think about pH, even though I admit to checking up on it because it seems too good to be true.

My advice, change your nutes.
