ok so I been reading about ph meter and calibration. I read that you have to store you meter in the storage solution which I didn't get. So now can I store it in my reference solution that I mixed for the calibration? I have the 4.0 and the 6.86.. Also for the Tds/ppm meter I didn't get any solution or powder to mix Nor does it tell me how to store it.. Can someone tell me what I should do??

edit: ok I check my little manual for ph meter. it said to rinse with distilled water after use and put cap back on..

as for TDS meter it said after use, shake of water and wipe with tissue...

Everywhere I read said not to use distill water....WTF

You can store your ph meter in disteled water if your going to be using it consitently or even white vinegar.
You can also use white vinegar to calibrate your ph meter its always 2.4
As for the TDS tester there is no calibration that I know of when I'm done with it I put the cap on tell next time. No solution.

ive been using a hanna combo pen for years without storage solution. I put a small piece of wet cotton inside of the cap to keep the glass probe from drying out. As for tds they have calibration solutions you can buy. I never used it after the initial calibration 6 years ago,
