I have a 3 way Hanna.....I paid, what, 120 or something like that for it. I picked up a $12 (with shipping) ppm pen from China on a whim. I was worried about the conflict in the description.....some of the identical pens said 0-999, others said 0-9990 ??? As it ends up....and this is weird....the pen is within 30ppm of my Hanna, but it only displays 3 digits. 1240 ppm shows up as 124. 124 ppm shows up as 124. Study this very closely because if you overlook it, you will either kill or undernourish things. It defaults at 2000ppm to 999. Again...BE CAREFUL. I love the pen, though.
It works great. It IS NOT waterproof.....so you can't float it. I like it because it turns on as fast as a light switch, and I don't have to be overly careful with it for loss of my investment. I couldn't live without my 3 way, but for 12 bucks my "cheapo" is friggin awesome!
I walked into a HTG with my meter and told them to make it in green, put there name on it, and sell them for $25 because they are going to be a hot item.
