Are you mixing your nutrients into the water for feeding? My 7.5ish pH water out of the tap is brought down to about 6.1 pH after adding my nutrients.

If you just don't want to spend the money on a bottle of pH down, then get citric acid powder and make your own pH down solution. All you have to do is mix it with water to get it to a low enough pH value to make is easy to dose.

What kind of soil you in?

Why you worried about ph in soil? PH swing in soil is a good thing for the uptake of different essential nutrients for the plants. Also, a good soil will buffer ph itself.

Again, what soil you running.

I'd start a very light mix of nutes after about 3 weeks to a month. The soil should be fine without any adjustment. I've used all different brands and blends of soil and they all are really good about buffering ph. Just dont love them to death.

No messing about with PH whilst in soil. You'll fuck it up.

Your LIGHT mix will sort that but with this soil it has less in than the All Mix so will need nutes a week to 10 days earlier.
