That's almost twice what I paid for my cheap hannah, should be fine. Remember, for what we are doing you don't need great accuracy just a range.

That ph meter looks like cheap crap. I had one of those, bought it from ebay, it fucked off after 3 days. The cap isnt sealed so the keeping solution drains out. It sucks. Id goto an industrial supply store...

This is what I used, I can return it for a whole year no questions asked, and its cheaper, and water proof. Though I wouldnt dunk the meter in the water, if its splashed, or dropped in it wont destroy it. It also has a cap on the sensor that can be filled with keeping solution so it doesnt leak out, and automatic ph calibration, its just as good as a $90 meter accept it can be upto .3 ph inacuracy. The $90 is .1 inacurate. I havent had a problem with inacuracy with mine yet though.
