PH Water EVERY day

Honestly I haven't tried starting my seeds in FFOF since I've been adding extra perlite.....I had some pretty bad babies burn in the past using FFOF from the start....so I just said fuck it and go light warrior for a few weeks and then into the FFOF...it works well and I don't have any issues.....plus, a bag of light warrior is cheap and will start a shit load of solo cup seedlings for me ....not saying your wrong at all ....that's just my experience ...so it's just my method nowadays ....I'm more pissed about the quality of the FFOF soil the last 2 years TBH ...it's not cheap when running large smarts in green houses.....I don't mind paying for quality soil ....but I literally have a bag of rocks and sticks I've pulled out of the soil this year ....Big rocks ......I'm actually very pleased with my first attempt at recycling .....and pleased with the 707 mix as well ....very pleased actually ....and I've always loved the FFOF ....but lately I'm a lil dissatisfied .....that's just my opinion .....and like butt holes ...we all got one ......happy growing

I take it you order bulk. And you said it would be the eastern processing center right?

I would be getting mine from there too and I think hat is where the new "all Naturals or what the bag now says. I remember when it changed.

I have seen very little in the way of uncomposted bark or any sticks to really mention in any ocean forest. But funny enough the one bag of light warrior I bought from a hydro store a few years ago had part of a finished piece of wood in it. Like a chunk from a table or something.

Just to mention. I am not stuck on it. And I have some options not too far for out here now. I really might go back to pro mix and start experimenting with some amendments in a couple pots to see where it takes me.

I was thinking of even just trying dry organic fertilizer first. Maybe a late topdress. I sure would love to be able to just water the plants without mixing individual gallons for the perpetual.

That is why I use the amended soil. So I only water in veg but maybe one time with nutes.

I'm in Cali actually ....my light warrior has been good lol...my ocean forest has been questionable ....not just me either, I have several fellow growers in my area that feel the same way so idk ....I started to notice when all the sudden I started having deficiencies and had to start adding cal/mag, which I never had to do for years prior....so I just started adding to avoid that ....my water source hasn't changed and one location is from a well and another from the tap .....I also do a tiny full outdoor garden with new strains each year ....I buy sacks of ffof for that ...it's nothing big .....tomorrow il post what I've found in the sacks ....If I had a sling shot, I'd have lots of free ammo lol....some are huge ...not really guna hurt anything ....But why all the sudden is there tons of rocks and sticks in it ....oh well ....I've got what I call ....Fox Farms mountain at the ranch ..from years of me dumping soil from previous grows ....started trying to reuse it this year using all DTE products EWC and a few other things ....so far so good on the test plants...will see in the end ...it would be nice if I could get that dialed in within the next few years .......The RO 707 with added perlite, has been killing it to ....always lots of options .....I've been running a gravity feed system with tanks for years ....so I know all about the frustrations of measuring things out and feeding ....got it dialed pretty good nowadays though....I enjoy it most of the time ....but I'm with you on the just water thing .....that's goals for sure.

It's a good soil as far as buffering Ph and it's exactly what I use myself.....I do add lime to my fresh ffof and a bit of perlite as well ...not necessary ...however it seems ever since FF opened up another facility I started getting rocks and running into MAG Def ....as well as other growers in my area ...I'm actually beginning to recycle my ffof and I'm even trying out the RO 707 mix this year as well .......trying to get away from buying fresh ffof each year ......ANYWAYS....for a small grow and if you have access ...my answer would be go ahead ....ffof is a hot mix, so don't put seedlings into it ...I suggest some FF light warrior to start little ones ...and then into FFOF.....I've had great results with there soil and nutes in the past as well as present .......just a lil upset with the shit I've been finding in the soil lately..Big rocks, sticks, a mans penis ....k not the penis but the other stuff for sure ...hope that helps GL .

NOTE- FFOF has enough food for about a month ...so just water is all for a month .

Light warrior is good for around three weeks or a bit longer Imo...then the plant can be transplanted into the ocean forest ....that's what has worked for me ....GL
Thanks a bunch brother especially about the seedlings I've not started anything yet, I'm gathering and building my room not I have a about 3×3 space and I have the viparspectrem but I have skunk#1 auto-fem coming it says will go seed to harvest in little over 2 months so if I use the FF soils as you mentioned really all I need is to water and just keep an eye on it and can I get away with 2 plants in this situation, here's a list of my grow intentions.
300watt viparspectrem - already have it
Ph tester 2 of them
Humidity and temp gauge
Beans on there way
Grow room 3×3×6' tall with flat white paint
With a raised sink for my five gallon pot so it will drain out into an existing drain, I have room for two pots and room is sealed tight when door is shut. Also have a 4" carbon filter with inline fan coming. Any thing I need to ad or tweek a bit?
