Phenotypes!

Hey guys,

I don't have a "problem" with this, but a few questions.

Attached are pics of two of my current plants. They are both lowryder #1 from vision seeds.

Is this just to be expected if you don't grow clones? One definetly displays sativa characteristics. my node spacing seems ok, but of course, it could be something I've done to cause this.

Ps: they are both autos, but the shorter one showed pistils first, and is obviously farther into flower. this is what i expected from the strain (super short life) I'm wondering if my seed order was mixed up.

Any thoughts guys?

This happens all the time. Two runs ago I had a Vanilla Kush that was supposed to be a short/med indica dom plant, boy was that ever far from the reality. That girl had to have everything done to her (topped, supercropped, and LST) just to keep her under the light. It happens. With an auto, it would make me nervous, but I don't like autos anyway.

Yes I've left them all be, I've got my hands full controlling the environment atm, but new techniques will come when I'm comfortable :)

if I had gotten these with a micro-grow setup I would be in trouble. I'm glad to hear that this is somewhat common. Thanks dude.

i like to compare plants to people as much as i can.. think about a family, one with more than one kid.. are all of the kids the same height? do all of the kids have the same eye color, hair color? is one left handed and the other right handed?
same thing with plants... unless the parents the plants came from were extremely stable, which usually doesn't happen in cannabis breeding, than the offspring will usually tend to show different characteristics, some from the mother, some from the father, and some from both..

No prob. Don't be scared. Ganja can take a lot of abuse and still keep growing. LST is basically just when you take the top of the plant and tie it down. Low Stress Training.

You wont be able to do much training on an auto. If you want to learn the different techniques, you really need to be growing photos so you can keep vegging them.

Hmm this helps me understand very well! that just makes sense.

I guess it's easy to really belive the seed manufacturers the way they talk about thier seeds.
nature will do what it does I suppose. Thank you dude.

Their intentions can be anything under the sun. Momma Nature does what she wants anyway. Listen to her and don;t piss her off and you will be fine. Any time brother.
