I'll be turning 30 this year. Occupation has a lot to do with it I feel. Mathematicians are innately skeptical. Honestly, thats not even what I am anymore but the skepticism still remains.

You're allowed to think what you think 100%. It might even be true. My basic claim here was that budtenders should leave the high description out of the sales pitch. Honestly, 100%, if you believe theres a difference fine, but do you think the guy working the counter has a scientific description of how the THC/CBD molecules are affecting your brain?
damn..i have kids nearly as old as u..lol And yes I have been and the Research Scientist has been. You do know what Research scientists do right? They are born skeptics (and fkn smart)..they are so skeptical that they repeat everything a million times.

You clam to be a mathematician and then ask "what is the avg veg time? Like what the fk? Avg veg time for what, from what, in what, under what? What are the variables?

I'm not butt hurt.

You are the newb on here wanting to argue everything.

Like the led thread. You wanted to argue that mars was a good light. Looks like you finally decided to listen and go cob. Good choice.

I've learned and practices this stuff already. Been doing it a long time.

I don't bull shit.

Fact is you don't know. Its clear in your threads.

Might be a better idea to actually figure it out before claiming stupid shit as fact.

How the he'll can you sit and say all strains are the same and mood dependant?

How do you sit and actually not believe that different cannabinoids don't have different effects?

You are new to it. Growing and now I suspect smoking it to.
Exactly what stupid shit did I claim as fact? I've said here I'm a skeptic. The entire reason I joined this forum and posted threads was because I wanted to hear directly what other more experienced growers had to say. Dis me on that if you will but I don't regret it or any of my posts for a heartbeat.

How do I sit and dispute cannabanoid effects? Because I've smoked 1000 strains over 12 years and decided for myself that it mostly comes down to potency and the amount I smoke (and how its smoked).

@Lucky Luke Dude, asking average veg time is a classic instance of gathering a bit of data....and "under what etc" I ask that in my thread......exactly.

BTW as a mathematician you should be able to grow some wicked plants. Growing is mainly maths.
Lol right...? I'd really like to think so. My plants are doing well but I don't have the nutrient science down yet. Somebody posted a video explaining nutrient intake that I need to watch...like asap...but I haven't yet, today was a busy day. But believe me I plan on it.

I'm not dissing you as being new. Being new is not bad. I don't blame you a bit for asking questions.

The way you argue something as fact without knowing is a bit frustrating.

Just saying you are the only person I've ever heard say that strains and sativa or indica don't make a difference.

Ok except that I've literally said my views are opinions. And I'm not surprised. And no, it's offensive when you say I'm "asking dumb questions" that are actually great questions even if they've been asked 1000 times. Some specifics are debated in the threads still. I assume that means the proper research hasn't been done yet or rather its not been well established.

Its a plant that has been grown commercially for hundreds if not thousands of years. Most the science is out there if u look for it. We are not reinventing the wheel here.

The entire reason I've posted here is because I hoped others who had already doen this research were willing to share their findings. This is why I purchased a Vero29 400w kit instead of a PlatinumLED light. I am not unreasonable.

Every question you asked could easily been answered with a simple search of the site.

Its not the questions. Really. I don't mind them. I spend quit a bit of time in the grow sections answering them when I can.

There are studies on some of this stuff. Really it comes down to basic botany. Cannabis is lime any other plant. It doesn't need unicorn farts or anything else special to grow.

I'm also sure its an exciting time for you. I like to learn myself. I love growing. My family grows our own food. I grow flowers and have 30-50 house plants. I've lost count.

That's a bit of advice I give new growers. Keep a few house plants and flowers around growing. It helps develope a green thumb.

Growing cannabis is not hard..we over complicate it.
Light plus canopy = yield.

Top mistakes are.
To much light
To many nutrients.
To much water.

Watch as many videos by the grow boss as u can..love him or hate him he has always got good advice.

Not even true. Literally I google every question before posting. Either there's no solid result or I see conflicting responses. I also realise that my specific gorw line up (summarized as LED + FFFOF+ EJ nutes) leaves room for debate when I'm still seeing problems in my grow.

Edit: I don't mean to sound ungreatful 100% because I know y'all have no reason to reply to me aside from wanting to help.

Ill add whitebb2727 is one of the most helpful growers on here (and another site im on) What he can pull out of a cupboard is amazing.
His soil talk leaves me with a headache. he knows his stuff.
Fair enough. He was a bit rude earlier but we all can be on forums. Seriously, no hard feelings. I am 100% sure if any of us met in person it'd be good times.
I don't believe different strains of weed are remotely accurately recorded in terms of effect. I also believe, outside of medicinal, that the effects of cannabis should not be a marketing point. If you disagree fine really, but no reason to get mad at me for disagreeing cause literally I've smoked it and I don't get it.

Try Google scholar.

The reason for so many conflicting answers is there is a lot of bro science and myth in the cannabis community.

I would look at horticulture books and websites. Stuff that isn't cannabis related for basic grow knowledge.

The best book for organic is this.

It really teaches how soil and nutrients work.
