Pick a strain or suggest one for first grow

I'm a first time grower to be. I'm in the final stages of renovating a 10'x11' room with an 8.5' ceiling. Got new drywall up and am finishing tape, texture, plumbing, and electrical. I've already started to get everything for a RDWC set-up, with the Current Culture Undercurrent system, a 630 watt SunSystem LEC and 2 Apollo Purple Reign adjustable ballasts/lights (400,600,1000 watt) as the center pieces to the grow. I'll have a separate 5'x5'x6.5' veg/mum tent so as to maintain a perpetual grow. All thisis the benefit of having a great paying job and owning a home.

So, I'm thinking I would like to run a strain that is known for high THC, as a top priority. I have already purchased the following seeds, but would entertain well articulated suggestions for something else that you may think would be better to run as a "first" grow strain. Please know that I'm thinking I want to run the same strain for several grows (i.e. clone to grow the best phenos) so as to learn how to grow by journaling the changes/tweaks of each grow. The same cloned strain phenos can be my baseline and control, as I will use Current Culture Undercurrent solos to keep the mother plants. I'll send my work in to Steep Hill for testing to check and verify results.

Let me know what ya'all think of these strains and what you think may be the best for first grow(s). If you can, please tell me why you think so.

I've never understood this question. You're doing all this work on a room. Spending money on equipment and supplies. Then you're going to ask someone what they like to grow? With the time energy and money it takes to get set up why wouldn't you take the time to figure out what you want to grow?

Besides that there are some people on here who do what they do well. There are even more people who think they're great. And there's even more people who know it ALL. But everybody has different taste. What works well in one persons grow room may do poorly in another's. So if they both grew the same exact plant they'd have completely differently results. Is that the seeds fault?

I'd suggest start by thinking about what you want to grow. Then see if your room can handle it. If you've got low ceilings there's a whole lot of strains that you'll want to stay away from.

How much time do you plan on allowing for flowering? If you want to quick finishers that eliminates a lot of strains ect.

Use that info to make the best choice for you! Search grow reports of the strains you find interesting. Ect.

So regarding what strain.. I highly recommend starting with something cheap and hardy. Cheap because you're likely going to make mistakes this being your first attempt. I'm far from a pro and have been cutting plants for some years now and I still find myself learning with every crop. Hardy for the same reason. Something more easily grown in my experience would be an indica. They for me have proven to me a slightly more resilient plant. To boot you'll likely find yourself more happy with your yield when all is said and done. Sativa's tend to be a little more finicky and difficult to control growth wise. To boot they typically take longer meaning you'll have to wait longer before taking your second crack at a crop and have a final product for that matter.

This isn't what you've asked but I'd also recommend not starting with RDWC for your first try. I started with RDWC with tons and tons of research under my belt. Probably wasted six months burning the ever living piss out of plants and fighting warm res temps and thus bacteria. I found coco taught me the most first hand. You have to give the attention to nutes same as hydro regarding understanding the hungers of your plants which gives you lots of knowledge of the chemical/biological needs of these ladies we all love so much.

With that said it sounds like you've already invested in Current Culture and I'd assume you to not change your course of grow method. I wish you nothing but success and I hope you show us how you progress!
