OK, So here are the pics of My outdoor grow. Shitty ass phone was pissing me off not sending pics to my computer. anywways, These pics are of my main plant that was started on 5/10, its photo #1. All the rest were started about 3 weeks later, lets say 6/1. #2 seems to be the second best looking plant. #3 looks healthy to me but its really tall and not bushy at all. any clue as to why? #4 is one of the leaves of my main girl. #5 is another plant I have, also looks good, kinda droopy but nice and green, no burned tips, curling or anything else, at least as far as I can see.

Check em out and let me know what you think, anything you think I should be doing? any defects I cant see? tips advise and critique are encouraged!

Thanks Everyone

yea the pots are small, I'm waiting on my check this friday so I can get pots and dirt to transplant as well as the lights for my CFL DWC grow. Can I find organic soil in Home Depot or Lowes? I have GH nutes, the green and reddish ones that seem to be working well when I add'em to the plants so I wana get soil with as little ferts in it as possible. Thanks for the replies!

Looking good man. You do need some bigger pots though. I'd get at least 5 gal or bigger. And don't cheap out on the soil mix. Buy the best shit they have or at least the MG Organic. That cheap crap won't hold water or nutes and is just a waste of your time and $$$. I'd transplant them first and take cuttings after they settle in. That tall lanky #3 might be a male, keep an eye out on all of them for any preflowers. Good luck . slabhead

what soil would you recommend from HD or lowes? thats all I have nearby and I dont wanna order online if its around the corner. Should I buy like pearlite or vermaculite and mix it in also?

Thanks for the advise man much appreciated

The Miracle Grow Organic Choice mix might be the best you can find there. Just walk through and see what they have, you might get lucky and find something better. Get the biggest bags for the value. You could use the verm/perlite if you wanted to, but I don't like too because it's too noticable when set out. I'd rather mix in sphagnum peat moss instead. Buy one of the compressed bales and you've got a pretty good supply of it for future mixing or mulch.

I went to HD and found MG organic choice garden soil and organic potting mix for about the same price for the same amount of soil.

I found this online:
MG Org. Garden Soil:
Total nitrogen (N) – .10% – (This product contains .097% slow available nitrogen.)
Available phosphate (P2O5) – .05%
Soluble potash (K2O) – .10%

MG Org. Potting Soil:
Total nitrogen (N) – .10% – (This product contains .097% slow available nitrogen.)
Available phosphate (P2O5) – .05%
Soluble potash (K2O) – .10%

They're the same according to this so what's the difference b/w the 2?

Do you know the sex of the plants yet? I wouldn't clone until you determine they're female.
No clue about the sex of them yet, still waiting to find out myself. But yea I guess I better hold off until I know theyre girls, gettin ahead of myself haha.

Thanks everyone!

Ook i went and bought one sack og MG organic garden soil. I chose it over the potting soil mainly cause of price ($7.00 for a 50lb bag, the potting was $10). I didnt see a huge difference in the ferts in them so I went with the cheaper one. Also it seemed like this soil was also lighter, it compacted when I applied pressure but broke up nicely without much force. Also was able to get a few free plastic pots, not huge but definitely bigger than what I had em in, only got a chance to xplant 2 Ill get the rest of them tomorrow. Check back Ill post pics of them all transplanted! I also threw a little bit of bone meal in the soil.

That should work for you. The potting mix has the Osmocote ferts in it I believe but you'll be feeding anyway above and beyond that. I think the soil mix just has more sand and larger pieces not processed as much for the lower price. How big are the freebie pots? Sounds like you're gonna help them out. Let's see some more pics after you've transplanted. Grow on! :weed:

theyre not as big as you guys recommended, but alot bigger than what I had them In im guessing about 3 gallon pots?. I found like ten totes behind a dumpster also that seem much bigger, im gonna take them all later today and turn them into huge planters! Ill get some pics up of those as well, im excited about those theyre hard plastic material and theyre used to fill the car wash around the corner with the chemicals it needs.

You can finish in 3 gallon pots dude don't worry. and you can take clones and put them into 12/12 to determine the sex of each of your plants. It takes about 2 weeks.

Can I take the clones and put them outside for 12 then inside for 12? I dont have lights set up yet. If I can determine their sex in 2 weeks im all for it.

Thanks!
