This is my dog, shitball. I hate him. I've tried to get rid of him many times, but he somehow always finds his way back home. I haven't fed him in 8 months, yet he keeps right on living. I'm not even sure it's actually a dog. It shit on my bed again today (hence his name), so I kicked him hard in the ass. His tail fell off and I heard a snapping sound, now I can't seem to straighten him out again. I brought him to my local shelter and told them about my seething hate and that I abuse him, they simply laughed and said, 'we don't blame you.' They will not take him. What should I do???
Bring it to my neighbors, it can breed with their dog and stuff.

don't you have any mutual friends that can help you mediate the situation? clearly she can't justify assuming someone else's pet. You have veterinary documentation, pull that file. speak with the woman's family, like parents. if that doesn't work, start the process. you want your cat back, not to make things worse.

Try some social media shaming also include pictures of your cat. Make up some paper flyers and post em all over where the catnapper lives and works. Post em under car windshields, on phone poles, on the walls outside where she lives and works.

What are you feeding him? My dog looked much worse last year before I found out he was allergic to chicken.

Also, wet a white piece of WET paper and do the flea test. If any particles run colour then that's the blood/feces of the fleas.
Interesting you should say that. I use to feed him beneful play time, and I got a different kind last time called Victor super premium food all stages.
We just got back from the vet and I had mentioned that. She thinks it's allergies and recommended benadryl pills and also gave me some topical ointment to rub on the dry itchy areas. She said it's the same stuff people use for athletes foot. So hopefully we'll see an improvment in a week.
She also plucked some hair and scraped off dry skin flakes and said she needs to send it off for I forget what and have the results in two weeks. She also checked to see if he had mites or whatever under the microscope and came back clean, so that a good.
She said If he doesn't get better in a week then we will try something else along with looking further into his diet. So I have my fingers crossed this benadryl and ointment will do the trick.

@Will Ferrell you ever listen to that radio commercial for DynoVite? I tried something similar on a Doberman that had some kind of dermatitis that the vet couldn't fix and it worked.

Victor is a lot better feed than baneful, that said it might not agree with your pup?

I feed my last dog Eukanuba and wanted to feed this dog something better and the fact that I lost a my last Job of 12 years because of Procter and Gamble's greed made that an easy decision.

Tried Amannet, Blue Buff, Native, Merrick, and a few others, guess what I have to feed him, yup, Eukanuba Lamb.... Hope it's something simple like a food change...

I tried the dynovite on my Ridgeback for "hot spots", itchy ears, foot licking etc along with stepped up hygiene with no results. The vet finally had to go to a couple of steroid shots & benedryl to get it under control.
