I sure hope so, the excitement is almost too much to handle. The paranoia is settling in pretty heavily as well.

Helped another retiree bring in his outdoor plant yesterday. Neighbors asking about smell. He would say it's his marigolds. This is about half of it and the plant was only about 4-5 feet tall.

Cool. Wow! Mine doesn't smell at all. I keep getting warned that it's gonna reek, but nothing to speak of yet.

Getting pissed on today. Some wind too. Wind is bad.

Belive it or not this photo was taken 8/19. Soooo much veg growth in Aug and Sept. Almost unbelievable.

Once they flower some will stretch like a bitch depending on genetics.

Been in flower for about a good 5 weeks, no growth in the last two.

34° F this morning, 45° when pics were taken just now. No ill effects thus far. Weathered the cold and rain yesterday like Champs.

35° again overnight, unphased. 66° now. Top cola thing has doubled in size past three days. Was the last spot to bud, but now is rockin and Rollin.

Looking great. Beautiful plant.

A lot of those buds have a greyish appearance that looks familiarly like rot....I am no expert but you may want to look into that! It may just be the pic! Just a suggestion...

Umm..what? Who told you that? Yes, you should sheer em as they will get uncomfortable in summer but they wont necessarily die. You city folk crack me up sometimes..lol

That's the plan. Not supposed to freeze until early November. The trichome things are clearly visible to the naked eye so I'm thinking even if doesn't finish it won't be a total waste. Another two weeks and it will be a salvageable harvest I figure, however not ideal.

Since this is your first grow you should do some reading up on drying and curing. IMO this is the most important step.

Tell me about it! Regardless of my obvious amateur and absent grower skills, just by reading and seeing this site I can see this shrub is something special! Other than trimming it (which I shouldn't have) I still haven't done anything other than take pictures of it. I really want to see it come to complete fruition. It's a mission at this point. I believe (ignorantly) it can withstand a light freeze just cause the 35° nights have done nothing to it. Didn't even have a droopy leaf. I think it'll make it through!

I've done the reading kind of extensively- thanks! At night my wife watches Joe kenda and I jack around on here, mostly reading.

If this thing makes it to full maturity I'm completely lost on where to do the initial drying. I mean I can jar the shit in our bedroom, but to hang and dry seems out of the question. I made some wire shelves inside copy paper boxes a few weeks ago but it's clear now I would need probably fifteen of them. I have a heated garage, but it's attached to the house. It's finished so nice it's like a part of the house. Keep the bike in there, have vintage video games etc. Not the place I'd like to have to seal off from the world or stink up. Will ha e to do though I guess.

Once it freezes you're going to regret it.. you won't have to worry about where to dry it... been there done that! 35 does not freeze.. 31 overnight and it's mush!

this is true, a hard freeze ruptures exterior cell walls, royally fucking things up. one or two nights of just touching 32 isn't the end of the world, one good clear night of 30 would be bad
