Look at the end of the day each to their own,all I'm saying is me personally I like to give my plants two weeks of plain water when they're done- I consider them done when all the trichs r cloudy with one or two clear or amber-and it works for me,I'd be kicking myself if I harvested without this and the smoke tasted shit, what's an extra two weeks when uv grown the plant for about 3 months, and lets face it no ones ever flushed and wished they hadn't whereas I'm not willing to risk having shit ganja cause I can't hold off an extra two weeks

That's my point its not any extra time. Its just a matter of feeding in correct quantities from start to finish.

When a plant is finished its finished no extra 2 weeks.

My gripe was that you were talking about testing it, flushed vs not and said you got more yield from the plant that was grown for 2 weeks longer.

That's a given as it was grown for 2 weeks longer.

You get my drift.

Hey mi amigos. Are you guys topping your autos. Ive only grown one auto and I neglected it but it seemed like it never would of had time to grow out enough after.

As far as im aware u shouldn't top autos as with them being autos they have, for want of a better term,a set veg time so u should let them grow as big as possible as quickly as possible and topping hinders this as they need time to recover.if I was growing one now I'd put it straight into whatever pot it was finishing in and just leave it,no topping etc

With my SUGAR MANGO RYDER I LST'd her to control height during her flowering transition as she was out growing my vegging girls and I needed to make certain of even light distribution between the plants in my area at that time.

I LST'd my main cola for a little while. This did a nice job of producing an even canopy. I think that topping would slow things down too much, I am working on mainlining some photos right now and I can see that every time I top them the growth is majorly stunted.

My vote is go ahead and lst autos. Even if it did slow things down a bit you would still benefit from an even canopy. I also lolipopped.

Thanks guys. Ive got a seedling of blue mammoth auto from Barneys ill lst. Here is two pics of 5th fast and vast auto from heavyweight I lost behind my other plants. Its like an 1/8th size nug haha! Im really thinking that strain has much more potential then what I did. Luckily I've got three more seeds of them. She's a smell mixed of dark chocolate and shit.

That's funny.. Little Bonzai plant. Is it the pot, the light, or the strain that kept it so small? I'm guessing that I'll get two full mason jars off my NL.

Here's another question relating to this post.. What does a plant look like that went too long? Does it begin to decay? How would you know that you really took it too far?

It was defiantly the fact I never took it out of its starting one gal pot. And the lights where high above my other flowering plants and it was so far from the light, I was on vaca for a bit and it just got led in the closet like a red headed step child. As for the second question. Im curious too?

Im not sure what it would look like but I know once it trichs start turning Amber they lose psychoactive strength, and again when they're clear they've not matured so I always go with all cloudy and one or two clear or cloudy.as for the harvest early for a head high and late for an elephant stone lol,if u want a head high grow sativa,a heavy stone indica
