This current grow is both the first grow with my very own DIY COB LED grow light, which is tits, by the way, and also my first time growing Pineapple Skunk by Humboldt Seed Organization (HSO).
This will also be my first attempt at trying out a proper SCROG. I have utilized pinching, pruning, and tying before, so I have some experience in training plant growth. I am using a small grow tent (2" x 2" or 60cm x 60cm) and I want to try and maximize my yield in this small space with the SCROG because it offers the ability to utilize as much of my footprint as I can as well as offering the ability to grow an even canopy.
I am now at day 22 since my seedling emerged from the coir/perlite mix and it is five nodes tall. I am using Canna Coco with the Canna Coco nutrient line; currently I am feeding at 2ml per litre of each A/B, as well as 2ml per litre of Cannazym. I will be purchasing some Rhizotonic and Cannaboost to add to my regimen.
Since I will be using a SCROG, I have made my first attempt ever at FIM'ing a plant on this grow. I will attach pictures below, but first some pictures of my plant in the grow tent along with its Thai chili pepper pal.
And here is my FIM attempt. I was trying to just nip the growing tip inside the growing tip cluster, to try and get the most branches. I suppose we will find out in a few days how well I have done.
