Plants are growing just as expected once again confirming what I thought was true in the last F5 run, these plants are getting to be very uniform in growth!
first 2 pics are the gang
next pics are a couple of A1 line girls
then some B1 line
second to last is a picture of a purple calyx most every plant is sporting these except for 1 B3
last picture is some B3 line girls

these have been on an 18 hour light schedule for the most part ( B1's started 12/12 a few weeks)
harvest time is kind of variable still depending on phenotype but roughly 70-90 days for bud 50-60 for hash

just watch me finish this grow out and youll have a good idea of how long they should be.

MITES!!!! kind of expected having a grow room with no door hahaha but thats how im making these girls tough!
first 3 pics are my grow room as it stands, most plants about 2 feet tall or more and its pretty crowded in here.
next pics are random top shots showing some pistils, coloration, resin buildup

On your hybrids. Was pinkie pie the male or the female...when crossing will the off spring take the mother or father size?

Pinki Pie was the male
it doesnt make a difference whether you use a male from one strain or a female for another and for my crosses I try and do reciprocal crosses whenever possible ( male to female, female to male) but the crosses I made were with fems so I only had Pinkie pollen. the seeds are F1 crosses and as such should be a nice 50/50 mix of traits from mom and dad so theyll be medium-large.

GOT IT!!!!!!!!
Pink pistils verified in both of my primary lines!
the F6 and F7 will be for making sure it breeds true to most if not all offspring.

This is a smallish A1 I put outdoors instead of destroying and low and behold, pink pistils!

snapped some pics of the girls this morning before a watering, this wack ass camera does absolutely no justice to the beautiful purple coloration of these buds.... absolutely georgeous! the resin coverage on some of these is excellent, and the smell of a few B3, A1, B1 is a sharp citrusy note (very pleasent) like ive been trying to lock down so I am confident that my F6 will breed true for most of the traits I consider to be imnportant and carry whichever few I still need to lock down. very exciting!! I may even run another batch of F5 because these last 2 runs were so great! Im just curious to see if I missed any gems like these before pushing forward.

just sexed out the last of those crosses and im left with roughly 50+ females and about 6 superior males
Ill be letting these finish up outdoors, possibly transplanting into 1 gallon pots to finish up and give me F2 seeds so I can start the real selections, the F1 is unimportant to me because even if I find plants I like a lot its been my experience that they dont necessarily produce the superior F2 specimens that actually pass on traits with much greater frequency due to the gene segregation at this critical generation.

first pic is the ol closet gettin real heavy-like
the next few are just random shots from the room

the last 3 are a B3 plant that has an ideal structure for wher I want to take the line so ive pulled her aside and taken a few good pics for documentation.

this generation has been absolutely fantastic!! all the traits ive been corralling are finally starting to fall in line and produce some real knockouts! I cant wait to see ho the F6 shapes up!023.jpg

about 4 out of 56 females have begun sporting pink pistils as of this morning!!
that means pinkie actually DOES breed true for pink pistils already! :)
These seedlings are F1 crosses i made with a few popular auto strains and my own Pinkie Pie

The pistils arent pink like bubble gum or like Red Cross (pure indica pink pistil strain) they actually start off deep purple or blood red and as they get more colorful become pinkish purple.

Much more colorful in person! I cant seem to get a good shot of them with my crappy metro camera

6 out of 56 females have begun sporting pink pistils and one of my males that I had chosen as a candidate for pollinating has begun sporting pink pistils as well! I have never seen a pink pistil hermi in my life so I was pretty excited lol

ive pulled these girls aside and will be pollinating them for sure to work an F2 population of these bad boys and really see what they have to offer in pots rather than cups :)032.jpg
