hey guys.

my ladies just starting to flower outdoors and a couple of them
have some weird discoloring going on.

now i know generally purple in cannabis is good. but this is like black and
purple and earlier than plants would usualyl start to change the color.

so im hoping someone can help identify if this is a good or bad thing.
and what if anything caused it.

these are outdoor grown, no crazy cold temps lately.
and the strains are pulled from bag seed. but from very good bags
with 1 or 2 seeds in it. not a bag of hermies.

the third pic is not discolored it looks fine/normal. thats to show what i would think they
would look like right now.

Rep for any answers that truly help/inform me.

My folks had a giant sativa dominant Hollands Hope do similar things in Midlands UK a couple of years back. She didn't finish flowering due to early frosts (and a probably epic long flower time). That looks more Indica dom, so likely quicker finishing. I don't think the colouring is anything to worry about though in itself, just a sign of colder nights. Just hope they don't get too cold to early.

nah they shouldnt. you know what. one night last week i saw my breath.
maybe that did it. but all the other plants experienced the same cold and no affect.
and the 2 plants with the purple seem to have got it in different amounts u know. one has 2 really dark blackish heads.
the other has purple close to the node.

Pretty sure the absorption is dependent again on temps. Might be plenty in the soil but the temps stop it being available.

I have some light purplish color on the tops of mine, it from the cold nights we have been getting in the northeast. I never saw black like those!!

I was was also wondering when you started those outdoors? For august 26 those don't seem to be flowering much. I guess it might be what ever strain you are running. I found that indica or indica dom plants tend to have some big buds by then. Right now they have escape a couple light frosts and are fattening up nicely. I'm hoping the weather will hold out for a few more weeks maybe till mid October but I'm starting to doubt that looking at the current trends.
