Plant are not eating at all

i guess just keep everything the same. it is strange that ppm didn't drop alot. for me, after a flush, they eat like crazy.

no sense adding more nutes if the ppm is same.

i usually drop my ppms to about that level for the last few weeks. from 600 to 300.

and you do know to stop the CO2 at the end or they won't ripen correctly, right?

@rkymtnman i was thinking to raise water level to all the way to hydroton and add hypoclorus (UC roots) see if that will kill anything
it wont' hurt for sure. make sure you take some and top feed from the stem thru all the hydroton too. not just from the bottom.

sometimes when you overfeed a plant it makes them more susceptible to rot.

Yup all roots absolutely same , i do agree with u on stain part cuz they looked same on the second day when i added nova bloom. so i just got athena cleanse gonna a give it a try , also i found out it might be some weir root disease caused by bacteria bloom because i added fl plus on the 6 th week (fl plus if u use should be dosed since veg not in the middle of flower)

if you started using the UC roots, i would give them another dose maybe in 2 to 3 days. it will take a bit more than normal to kill all the bacteria (good and bad) and then it can start to do it's thing.

and if i were you, since you've tried the southern ag (good bacteria) with the next grow going sterile (UC roots, HTH pool shock, peroxide, etc). sometimes one way won't work as well as the other even with a chiller.

I ordered UC roots from ebay but its being delayed thats why o bought CLeanse from local shop( same content as UC roots based on label) yup thats the plan to repeat it on 2-3 days but u think i can put in from top besides adding it to rez ?

yep, for sure get it in every nook and cranny you can. after it's mixed of course.

if you want to save a ton of money with the sterile route, get a bag of HTH pool shock. pool chlorine basically. 0.10 grams per 10 gallons is 1ppm. up to 5 is safe for humans/plants. you just need a very accurate scale.

i used it for years before i finally decided to try southern ag. each way is very easy and works. but a 1LB bag of shock will last you probably a decade for like 8 bucks.

Ill look in to it cuz Athena u just used max power 10 ml per gall and that 450 ml out of 1 gall on athena. it can get expensive :) So pool shok same as uc root ? i was advised against pool shock in hydro by GH support guy

probably cause he wants your money!
chlorine is a nutrient used by cannabis. dyna gro even puts it in their nutes.
read up on it and see what you think.

Same chlorine that we need to remove from TAP right ? :)
I just talked to friend of mine his growing in COCO and uses regular Tap without any de-chlorinator and pulling 2.8 lb per light

i'm on well water so i don't have to deal with that stuff in my tap.
but yeah, nothing wrong with chlorine at all.
chloramine is similar but you dont' want that on your plants. and it's harder to get rid of from your tap.

like i said, try both bennies and sterile and see what wroks best for you.

So can u explain a bit on HTH so i have 45 gal res , can i mix 0.40 gram of hth lets say in 1 gall of rez water then add it back to rez ? or i need to do rez change with 0.40 hth in it ?

i used 3ppm for my res. kinda middle of the road b/t 1 and 5 ppm

lets' say 40 gallons to make the math easier: 4 x 0.3= 1.2 grams. mix it up in some warm water and chuck it in your control res, let it mix in there and then turn on your pumps. you don't want it too strong going out to the plants. once a week as a control dose and twice a week if you have rot
