I dunno if yall remember my "Plant by Mistake" But here is the link for any questions about how she happened. https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/85036-check-out-my-plant-mistake.html

I've Put her( Deloris LOL) in a bigger container. I bought Lilly Miller Alaska Brand Plant food (5-1-1) plus some Blood Meal (12-0-0). I also have Lilly Miller's Alaska Morbloom Fertilizer (0-10-10) I'm not using that yet but I have it. she's in a Bucket I think it's 5L. she's doing well... I've watched her close for the past day or so tryin to see if she will survive the shock from transplant and she seems to be doing well.... I also have a lil surprise in another pot and I'll Post pics of that one also... I dunno the sex yet cause it's too small...

My Questions:

1. Is the plant food I got good enough?

2. When I water do I water till water runs out the bottom?

3. Can i use plastic over the top of the bucket for mulch? If so, does color matter?

heres how my approach is....

1. all your plant food sounds good....just remember to gradually work your way up to full strength....especially since you just transplanted i would just water it for a couple of days.
2. determined upon what your leaves tell you and the outer soil line. if your leaves are curling up its too much water and vice versa for thirsty plants...as for the soil, if its breaking away from the side of your pot its time to water...i water in increments. for example, i water then wait till i see it come out the bottom then water again shortly....just dont over do it....
3. I'm not sure about the plastic someone else might know...i seen mulch today for a big bag it was like under 5$ so its cheap....im using rocks on mine....check out my journal if you want...https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/87138-strain-ours-smallbush-purple-power.html

Agree with John on all counts. I water slowly at first, I go around and pour around a quarter of the amount I usually do at first and let soil slowly absorb it, then put the remaining 3/4 of water in, till it comes out the holes.

Also depends on how hot it gets, I grow indoors in a very hot place, 90-95F so I water every day, but I water 1/2 amount one day, full next day, and 1/2 again next day, repeat. Keeps soil moist but not overly saturated.

Whats your temperatures like outside usually?

The Temp. Around here lately has been around 85-90 degrees. I read in a HighTimes mag I could use plastic as mulch. I will post more pics soon...

Kinda hot. Water them more often, similar to my last post.

Measure out an amount of water and slowly water them, giving soil time to absorb the fluid, then keep going till it pours out the bottom. Use that as a baseline on how much to water them.

OK... Deloris is doing good. she's getting plenty of sun light and is doing good after the transplant shock.

Lil' Lisa wasn't growing for awhile(she's the lil plant that was growing beside Deloris in old pot) but now she's doing well.. she grew like 2 nodes (if that's the right word)

This new plant yall see(the last pic) is the one I was growing and gave to my cuzo. The lil plant turned out to be a female and is doing good. He needs a bigger pot and some nutes and I think his will do much much better. His is mostly Indica because she's short and has fat ass leaves. Look at her leaves yo and this pic is and old one. I will give updated pics on this one also.

Problems:

Deloris is tall as fuck and she ain't(excuse my english) even flowering yet.

I think I should have put more Perlite in the bucket because I don't think Deloris is Draining as well as she could be. What could I do?

I just bought all the parts to a DIY Veg. CFL system using Y splitters and shit(Pic below) How many plants coudl I veg?

Oh I dont' have a pest problem really but I do see lil bugs on the Main stem. They try to hide from me LOL... I dont' know what they do they could be good for my plant i dunno. Could someone tell me what they are. Sorry for the bad discription. Peace.

In general bugs are bad for plant life. Couldn't really tell you what kind of bugs they are though, sorry. Happy growing.

Ok I'm thinkin bout cloning Deloris... I'm not gonna use any gel or power or anything like that just water and sunlight... I've read about this way and they say it's has and 100% success rate so.... yeah. When I plant my clones is Peatmoss better or soil?

How do you know that third plant is female? Aren't you growing outside? It's not the equinox yet, so flowering shouldn't have begun.

Peat moss is very dry. It's hard to saturate with water and when it drys out water will run right off of it. I wouldn't recommend it. It is good for a top layer on your soil for retaining moisture.

You can buy quick root powder at wal-mart for about $5 I would use that for cloning, you'll get a lot better results a lot faster.

I buy pots at garage sales, sometimes you can get a box full for a couple of bucks.

Well I know its a female cause it's Preflowering... I been growning these plants since Feb. outdoors through all the cold and everything. ANd I don't want to use any powder... I'm not in any rush yo. I like to take my time to ensure I get top quality bud. I know I dont' have all the tools but I think if I pay close attention to detail and take my time my buds will be alright... I think.
