Alright, so I was overheating before, but now I'm getting yellowing in the leaves (Oddly enough, in random middle-leaves) even after the temp is down to 78 degrees. Over/under nuting? The buds are still growing, but sooooo sloooow. I haven't been giving them nutrients lately, but (like an idiot) I used some Miracle Gro when I ran low on other soil.

So now my leaves are drooping, been careful not to over-water, and I'm lost as to what to do. Specs are as follows:

2x 42w Warm White 2 foot fluoros
3x 40w Soft White CFLs
2x 24w Daylight CFLS

Please help me, Obi-Bong-Kenobi, you're my only hope.

lol I just ran into a similiar situation, Im also using MG potting mix. MY advice:

transplant asap, it doesnt matter into what (never use SOIL that doesnt have at least 50% perlite). I transplanted right back into some fresh MG potting mix, flushed with pure water & a cpl drops of super thrive. and shes doing fine now.

before she recovers most of her leaves will turn yellow and probably fall off the plant, but thats when I gave her a bloom feed. now shes stretching.. shes stopped making trichs, and all of her hairs have turned brown....but when the new growth arrives itll bring the bright white hairs and dank buds.

be eeze
:peace:

Transplanting isn't really an option. I was under the impression it's roots were spinning at the bottom, so I cut out the bottom of the bucket and put another underneath. No easy way to transplant. :-/

Looks like you are over watering the plant also looks stressed most likely from the transplant, In my opinion there is nothing wrong with miracle grow soil after a plant is large enough to need nutes, basically just crappy for seedlings or clones. But it looks like you need more light if you can manage and the plant will appreciate a dry soil before you water again.

Well that doesnt make things the way they look, I couldve lied and told you they were fine but that is what they look like. I read your post and gave my opinion anyways like it or not sorry if you are taking it that way. And i see no heat stress so go figure. Well if you want more help post more info what is the ph of your water and your runoff, also what ec levels are you feeding with? what is the pot size and how much water are you feeding them and how often? What is the relative humidity day and night? temps day and night?

Wasn't trying to sound impatient or like an asshole, man. Sorry if that's how it came by.

Could it be that the soil in the bottom bucket isn't draining out as well as it should? Would that cause droopiness and leaf die-off? Sorry, I don't have the tools available to give humidity, ppm of my nutes (which I no longer use), etc.

I apologize as well i am a bit shortfused today. I guess if water iis sitting in the bottom that could make it look overwatered but i think it is probably more of a ph problem if you are not using a meter or litmus paper or something The plants enjoy a ph of about 6.5 - 7.0. the last bag of miracle grow soil i had the ph was very low around 4.5 - 5.0, also my tap water is about 8.5 both are bad for the plant so you need to go to a pet shop, walmart, or even a pool supply shop and pick up something to test ph with. For soil the cheapest and most affective way would be litmus paper or ph test strips. pretty reliable and not to costly this way you can also chek the runoff to make sure you are on track once you get there. Ph is extremely important for nutrient uptake. If the ph is off it can cause all types of deficeincies and adding more nutes when the ph is off will just make things worse. In my opinion the ph meter is my most important tool when it comes to growing marijuana. Once you get something to check your ph you will also need something to raise and lower your ph i reccomend phosphoric acid to lower and sodium hydroxide to raise you can find these at most fish stores. Some ph up and down are really crappy and actually bad for your plants so if you can try to stick with these. These are inexpensive and also invaluable
