Ok, here is a somewhat ridiculous scenario -- but here goes anyway. If you were a fabulously rich indoor gardener (and for some reason you happened to be growing from seed), could you have your seedlings DNA tested to determine sex? Or doesn't that work because DNA doesn't contain the sex of the host -- don't paternal twins (boy and girl) have the same DNA?
