plant going really tall but not branching is this normal?

hey my baby girl is growing really tall but not branching out very much and its biggest branches only have three leaves sets. has anyone else seen this? is it okay?

Some strains don't branch much naturally. Have you tried topping it? What is the spacing like between nodes?

uh topping it? and probably three inches and there is 7 sets

You can either cut the main cola / branch off an inch or so from the top to stop it from growing tall, this will force other branches to fill in. Another method, use you pointer and thumb to squeeze an inch or two below the top of the branch to sort of crunch the insides of the branch then try to bend it 90 degrees sideways, this will force the branch to stop growing so tall and will actually create one or two more branches to sprout = makes your plant thicker instead of tall and skinny. You can do this bending technique to other branches, not just the main cola. Even if the branch "snaps" - as long as its not hanging on by a thread it will heal itself. I snapped one or two and use a small piece of tape to keep it from falling off, after a week it recovered and I took the tape back off. Good luck.
