Plant got ate by something! Help!

I woke up this morning to find my plant like this.
I believe it was my outside dog that did it i just
can't seem to figure out why today was the first time
he tried to eat it rather than any other day.

My question is should i clone all possible clones or
try to let it pull through. I need some experienced opinions
please.

If it were my only one i would take a cutting to double my chances.

My dog does shit like that if he feels like I'm not paying enough attention to him.
