Hey everyone just a few questions. I'm about to harvest but wanted some input from everyone. My Trichs are right where i wanted and the fan leaves are starting to yellow and curl. But i have a TON of long white hairs on her still. sorry the pics arnt the best, but they show enough. Any suggestions? is it time to chop?

What strain? I see what you mean re: all those hairs. Most don't look ready to me, but if the trichs say "go" what the hey!
I'd trim off 1-2 of those small, more matured, buds I think I'm seeing in pic #1 . . . and test the product.

thanks for you input mr. fishy, the strain is unknown unfortunetly. what the pictures dont show is under those white hairs are a ton of already turned from white to red hairs that i normally see. just cant figure this one out. the white guys keep coming!

Lensta how many times do you have to post? LOL. Weve told you wait a week or two longer. Your top buds arent done yet but your lower ones are...

Thanks dually but i had a reason to post in two threads because they relate to both my friend.. dont judge to quick, i'm not a newb. First i posted in harvesting to get the people in this thread that were dealing with harvest, then in CFL cause i'm flowering with CFL bulbs to see if the CFL guys could help.. didnt mean to over post, just thought it would get to more people :o)

And the plant has been getting straight water the last 2 weeks. Based on the Trichs, she is done. The whites are just overwhelming

I have got 3 diff strains going on and just when I think the girls are done-BAM-one last ditch effort to grab some pollen and she has a manic bud spurt-usually on the upper most colas. it's like it's out of no where. I than flush her and when she subsides she gets chopped.

I've posted this a few times already, so I'll tell you the same thing. The "hairs" have nothing to do with where the plant is at. If the Trichomes are where you want them, cut it now. Take a look at some pictures of "White Widow" or "Ice" plants. If you waited for the pistols to turn brown on those type of plants, you'd be throwing it in the trash. Could just be the strain you have there keeping the hairs from turning brown or yellow. Doesn't mean it's not ripe though.
