plant height at end of veg.

IF i wanted a total height of plant at the very end of flower to be around 5'8" from medium. at around what estimated height would i have to grow the plants before switching to 12/12... thank you!

Sativa, Indica or hybrid?
What strain?

Are you going to be doing any training ?
My guess would be 24 to 30 inches (give or take)

i am running 9 plants in a 5x5x8 the only strain i know of is jimmy hendrixs perp. other then that i have been germ. random hydro seeds that i have collected in my travels all around the world!!! so they could be anything good really. i dont smoke "ok" mary j! only the best!!!! i wasnt planing on training or topping. i want 9 super colas!!!! i know that it is not that much space but then again i am running 5000 watt in l ighting in this box. 4 250 cfl's that sit at base of plants 20 150 equevilent cfl's on the wals and a 1000watt hps in an over hanging air cooled tube.

for a sativa plant grow it to like 2 feet then flower it and it will be like 6 feet tall. For an indica to be about 6 foot tall you will need to grow it for an entire season because 6 feet is about how tall a indica can get outside in an entire grow season.

Heres a 6 foot tall sativa plant vegged to 2 foot tall then flowered.

Heres a pretty much maxed out indica plant grown hydroponically and vegged for 2 months.

Thank you. i am actually excited to see what comes up. i have 200+ seeds and it could be anything!!!!! i have collected them for about 10-12 years. and i know that i have smoked some of the dankest of the danks.... now besides residual effects. are there any signs "while in veg" to say what race of plant it is????

Yes, sativa plants are generally taller, more lanky , larger leafs but less of them the leafs have more of fingers and are less fat and more longer.

ty. i stepped away from growning in 09. only ran 2 seasons. but figured with all laws in the country changing might as well give it a go again!!!! nothing like growing!!!!

is it 24" from the medium or is 24" the overall height with pot?

24 inches from soil.

so is the 2\3 rule applicable here that would mean like 3' tall to get a 5' plant
