First grow, and this plant was kind of an accident. I had gotten impatient like a dumbass a few days after i had planted a seed and took it out, nothing much was going on so i opened it up and it was green on the insides, so i was like "awwh man why'd i have to get impatiant?" Well apparently i had replanted a seed that same day and just kind of forgotten about it. Because i had left it in my closet and came back, to plant another seed that was done germinating and their was a little sprout growing, all white and not very healthy looking, from being in complete darkness for a week. Was about a centimeter out of soil when i found it. Well i decided to try to grow it and it seems to have gotten healthier. Been maybe a week and a half since i found it.
How long do you think till those leaves come in all the way?

You sure the plant has been above ground a hole week in the dark I think it would be slot more stringy and if you had planted a seed you hadn't sprouted first it prob just came up when you opened the door looks good to me bro

If that's all it's grown in a week and a half, than you probably have some bad soil. Maybe soil with serious excess boron or something.

I donno, i definitely didn't put much time into the soil. It's just vegetable compost with some basic soil and i've been watering with compost tea.

ya I definitely think its the soil bro. If that's just bagseed then start over. Also you don't need to water very often remember that as of now there isn't a root system that can absorb everything yet, medium just looks dark and wet.

With your next seed make sure you have a decent 1 inc taproot plop her in there and wait this time, it'll happen don't worry!

Aight well i've got two more seeds planted in a different cup, just put them in the day before yesterday. I mean the plant looks pretty healthy to me, but just definitely not as big as it should be. Also i'm growing most of the day outside, and then i put under light in my closet after it gets dark out, then i put it back out side at about 12 am before i go to sleep. Sun comes out at about 6. So it's on 18/6 lighting, half outdoors half indoors with a ghetto cfl setup. I've had plastic wrap over it until today, and i saw online you're supposed to take off plastic wrap or take out of humidity when the plant breaks the soil. So i did it way to late and i'm thinking yeah the soil, but then again it is vegetable compost and that should be pretty healthy. Possibly carbon-dioxide deprived because of the plastic wrap. I mean i air it out whenever i can and then replaced it. But it's off now, cause i know it only really needs to be in humidity till it breaks the soil.
