I put my first baby outside sunday april 18, But i live way south of you.

I agree with Sodalite, its going to be cold an you should have a greenhouse\cloche plan ready (Throw a blanket over her, cover her up with a 5 gallon bucket ect.) or bring her in to keep the frost off her.

I use bagies with bars of soap cut in half , an baggies with coffee an few holes polked in them sprinkled around the area to scare animals. Im going to ty mothballs this year.

Good luck grower
use human hair to stop dear!!ONTARIO has ALOT of dear and they love to eat cannabis.

I'm in southern Ontario and was planning on growing a couple plants this year. First time too but I was thinking of waiting for a bit yet. I think were supposed to be getting a frost tomorrow morning. It's unnaturally warm this year.

I would be shivering myself if i knew my babies were out braving below 40 degress in the woods. I am pretty sure it stunts them for a little even if you cover them. I personally make a little green house and i put some hot water in 2-3 milkjugs and set them in the little green house to keep the ladies a little happier if i know it's gonna get below 40. Just my opinion.

maybe but they looked perfect today i gave them sun and they perked right up. i couldnt carry around greenhouses and warm jugs of water here id have to make many trips they wouldnt stay warm long. ive grown enough plants to know that no harm was done. if we had recieved a few inches of snow that would be a differant story. when working in a green house all we do is cover plants outside with no ill effects.

Central Ontario is a region of Southern Ontario which lies between Georgian Bay and the eastern end of Lake Ontario.

Had a frost this morning, the 14 day trend looks like warm weather next week though.
